I mean it's good for the price . Certainly does the job you need it to do . The brushes stain very quick, I used it once on watercolor pencil painting and that stained the brush green. I must emphasize that it was a watercolor pencil painting that stained the brush. Literally all I did was paint water one the drawing and it got stained. I used one of the small ones for details and it sheds, it shed bristles during its first use. Not the best brushes but they get the job done with no problem, almost everything you need is in the set, and it works so I can't complain there. I recommend to all beginners . ... show more

I had a very small home painting project to do and I knew I would need a few different types and sizes of brushes. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I didn't want to start my project and realize I didn't have the correct brushes so I needed an inexpensive set and this was perfect. It had a great variety and all different types/sizes. Are they the best brushes in the world? No. But I wasn't trying to paint the Mona Lisa on my wall. They worked out great, cleaned up nicely and will work for future projects. I even used some of the smaller brushes for nail art for my pedicure. I like to get my money's worth AND be creative. These are not the most expensive brushes out there and they are synthetic but they are decent brushes and the work well. They come in a nice carrying case and I really like that. They are easy to grip and use. they are easy to clean as well.

I'll be honest. They aren't the best quality ever and will occasionally loose a bristle/hair. However, you can't beat the price. You get a great variety of different brushes which allows you to do numerous different projects. I'm using them for painting with acrylic paints and they work well
