So excited to get this book!! My one year old grandson goes to a Spanish immersed daycare in Chicago . My daughter and son-in-law realize the advantages of being able to communicate with Spanish (they are both fluent as a second language) and even speak Spanish to their dogs!     • Wonderful book for kids and adults to be bilingual!!!
I figured it had to be good since I admire both Jimmy Fallon and Jennifer Lopez. My grandson, who is extremely gifted, began preschool a couple months ago. He is 4. Half his class speak only Spanish. He felt extremely left out. Broke my heart😩 Then a miracle happened when I was watching the Jimmy Fallon show. BINGO!!! He loves it, my daughter loves it too! Thank you!!! ... show more

    • Fun book to read to young children!
When the room fills with giggles and laughter while reading the book to a 4 and 6 year old, then-this book is a winner! The kids make Con Pollo jokes and memories even after you have read it to them. Plus it was a fun read for them, providing confidence in their reading skills while subtly learning some important Spanish words. They may not realize it, but it definitely helped to encourage them that learning how to read and speak in Spanish and English can be fun. Con Pollo has a Spanglish flow, making it entertaining for everyone reading or hearing the story. Definitely worth the money! Jimmy Fallon wrote this book about a plush white chicken, which travels with a small child. It is written in both Spanish and English and was perfect for my 5-year-old granddaughter studying in a bilingual kindergarten. The book is clever and age-appropriate.
