Even though there was a lot of small parts to keep up with they were labeled for easy identification, the instructions were adequate, the desk pieces were hefty which made assembly of the desk fairly easy. The downside of the assembly was the cheap soft aluminum B1 and B2 lock screws. They broke while trying to lock them into the A screw heads with very little torque by hand too easily. The B1 and B2 lock screws need to be steel like the A screws. It is extremely frustrating as a DIYer handyman to work with inferior cheap parts from prepackaged home projects. Take a hint from Home Depot or Lowe’s or any other good hardware store.They never have inferior stuff. Just charge more for quality parts please. It makes things easier and faster, and the completed project will last longer too. The desk company owners offered me $20.00 to upgrade my review. I said I didn’t want their money. I would upgrade my review if they would send Steel B1and B2 Lock Screws so I disassemble the desk and retrofit the desk with all new steel screws to replace the Soft Inferior B1 and B2 Aluminum screws. They do not comply. So, I downgraded my review of them for the sorry bribe to One Star. I received a complete set of B1 and B2 aluminum lock screws and all other hardware parts that bring the desk together as a whole on Sunday February 21, 2021. I’ll change my rating from one star to four stars. If you can in the future, quality steel parts would have been the best way to do business. My daughter purchased this desk for her room because she has College classes online. Desk looks just as pictured. She loves it and for the price the quality is good as long as you are one of those people who values your purchase enough to take care of the product. It can last for years to come. She has been using it for about 7months now we have even moved it 3 times into different houses without taking it apart and it is still just as stable as when we first put it together. You can always trust my review because I will most definitely give you my honest opinion because it upsets me when I spend my money on junk. Do not have a lot of it to go around. Very easy to vuild does take a little time. I did them both by myself. The kids are messy asbyou can see but the desks fit in my office along 2 wall which also has a narrow cabinet. It had plenty of room with the 4 draws as you xan see from the pics my kids prefer their work on top of the desks. Haha. We got these to homeschool our boys this yr and works perfect. ... show more

***update!!! After reviewing this product, the seller sent me some rods to complete the desk! Super happy with the seller and the product! Would definitely buy again and recommend!*** The metal rods for the bottom drawer to hold files was missing from the box. We unboxed and put together all in the same area and looked everywhere. My wife wanted a desk, but on the smaller side. She wanted to use it for a place to have her laptop, as well as a place to do bills, etc. We found this and she really liked how it looked, and the dimensions made it perfect for the little spot we picked out for it. Assembly was fairly easy. Pretty much no different than any other piece of furniture you order online anymore. The desk is sturdy and provides exactly what she wanted. It has drawers to hold her stapler, paper clips, pens, etc., and even has a filing drawer in it. The only complaint she has had about it is that the drawers are a little on the thin and small side. They don’t hold a lot, but at least they do hold some stuff. The file drawer won’t hold years worth of records or anything, but if you want to use it for monthly bills and then move last months stuff to a file cabinet, this is the perfect use for that type of system. Overall a great desk that looks really good and is plenty sturdy. Just be warned of the smallish drawers. They still work, i just with they could be a little bigger. ... show more

I didn't know what to expect for a cheap desk but for the money I would recommend. There was a little damage on the sides as you can see in one of the pics, but it's minor. It's in the same spot on both sides so they may want to package that part a little better. The other side is a little worse but it's against the wall so I don't care. Top drawer above my knees does catch a little on the desk top, but probably because it wasn't put together perfectly square. For the price, I would recommend. Seller did message me prior to shipping as well stating if any thing was broke to let them know. I'm sure they'd make it right. ... show more

This desk is relatively easy to put together with only a few tricky steps. Getting the top panel on requires very good alignment with a number of pins that have to match exactly. But that seemed to go ok. I forgot one piece of wood that is really decorative and was on the right side where it won't be seen so I left that off. It was my mistake.
