I already owned a set of packing cubes I was very happy with when I heard about compression cubes. Well, these have elevated travel packing to a whole new level. It is astonishing the amount of clothing you can pack into these cubes and, when compressed, the tiny amount of space they take up. I love the handles on them. The quality of the material and the sturdiness of them. I like to travel very light and these compression cubes have taken that concept to its absolute limit. LOVE these. Zipper quality is good. Make sure you slip a finger under the zipper as you are compressing. It makes things so much easier and more effective. Be smart, don’t overpack the cube and expect a miracle. Because all of my clothes are lightweight and roll up, I am able to fit more than recommended amount without disfiguring the cube dimensions but if you are packing jeans and heavier weight clothes, follow the guidelines that come with the cubes. ... show more

I like this set due to the different sizes provided and the shoe bag keeps dirty shoes from touching my clothes. That really helped on a recent trip to New Orleans, you don’t want French Quarter shoes getting on your clothes! I am currently packing for a 5 night cruise and these are great for organizing and saving some space however they don’t feel incredibly durable. No issues yet but I don’t have high hopes for longevity. Additionally the compression zipper can be annoying due to the material getting caught in the zipper but I think that is common with compression cubes. ... show more

I'm a pretty efficient packer, so I never saw the need for cubes before. But decided to get these after a friend raved about how much she loved them. I used them for a five day trip last month and I can't really say they saved a ton of space, but the compression did make some difference. I was able to fit the large, medium, and two small cubes into a carry on suitcase, with room for my tablet, toiletry bag, and an extra pair of shoes. But the convenience was far more impressive than the compression.. For the first night in a hotel on the road, I packed just what I needed for that night and the next day in one small cube. It was so easy just to pull that one cube with everything I needed out if the suitcase, then put the dirties back in that cube to keep them separate. When we got to our destination, since I had put all of my PJs, socks, and underwear in a small cube, I just unzipped it and sat it in a drawer, no unpacking needed. The rest of my clothes, including a cartagan sweater, fit in the large and medium cubes. And it was very nice having the cubes to separate the clothes I'd worn from the clean ones in my suitcase for the trip home. Like other reviewers said, the compression zipper will get stuck in the fabric if you aren't careful, but I found that holding my finger under the zipper to push down the loose fabric while closing it prevented that. As for durability, I packed them full but didn't overstuff them, so I can't speak to how well the seams would hold up to that. But they seem to be pretty well made. Over all, I'm happy with them, and wish I'd gotten some sooner because they do save a little space and make packing easier and more organized. ... show more

These are the first compression packing cubes I've used for traveling and used them on a recent trip. I'm really happy with how they are easy to pack things into and then how that extra zipper compacts the clothing inside, and when you press down on the outside you can feel the air being dispersed, making the bag into a smaller package. I traveled with these one time so far. They are great to organize socks, bras, underwear, pants, shirts, etc. I had a nicely organized suitcase. At every stop my friend opened her suitcase and clothes went everywhere and then she had to dig through the mess and stuff stuff stuff to pack back up for the next leg of the trip. Plus I could pack all the dirty clothes into the empty ones as I consolidated the categories as they reduced in quantity over time. And when I got home I threw them into the wash and hung to dry. I would recommend NOT putting them in the dryer. They began to fray at the inside of seams and zipper areas a little bit. I suppose they compressed a little bit, but mostly they corralled the disaster of an almost two week amount of clothes. They are not like the “space saver” plastic bags. Will I use them again? Yes, but only because I already own them. I would search for something that compacts more next time I have to pack a lot in a certain size suitcase. ... show more

These are well made compression bags for travel! They really help reduce the space used in your luggage if you use them correctly. The key is not to try and overstuff them. Using more bags with less in them allows you to really compress them down nicely.
