Very silky so it feels wonderful. The fitted sheets rocks 👏 BUT try using the top sheet - nope. I tried weigh a quilt on top of the top sheet and then tried using m the top sheet alone. That thing slides everywhere. Will not stay on me or the bed. If you want a good night’s sleep use only the fitted sheet. ... show more

I just took a big trash bag full of my old bedding to the donation drop box after getting these sheets today. Why? Well, first, because I simply had too many. BUT...after feeling these sheets, and then feeling a lot of the sheets I have in my linen closet...I simply wasn't going to sleep on any rough sheets anymore. Why should I? I have these. I think out of about 8 sets of queen sheets, I kept 3 sets, including this set, which is amazing, my set of high quality percale sheets (something about the crisp feel of a nice set of percale sheets), and one other set of decent sheets I owned which felt "soft enough to keep". So, i slimmed down my linen closet by, like, a BUNCH today, and these sheets, and their softness, is frankly what got me off my rear end to take all those other sheets to the donation box. Now I'm down to 3 good sets of queen sheets, and that's plenty. I have a hard time describing the softness of these sheets...but, I shall try to use a bit of a metaphorical analogy. Imagine if microfiber met silk, fell in love, and had a baby. That newborn baby's peach fuzz hair on the top of its little head is about how soft these sheets are. It is, perhaps, time to draft a set of standardized softness numbers if I have to dream up an analogy like that. But, no kidding, these are so soft and cool to the touch, that it's hard to describe. I chose these in "Dove Grey" (it actually does come close to approximating the color of dove feathers), because I have a wonderful grey goose down comforter that I intend to pair with these sheets, as well as a grey duvet cover that I put the comforter in. I don't want to brag or anything, but a goose down comforter in a quality duvet cover with these sheets underneath is about the best combination you can dream up to sleep under, and it is pretty "next level" comfortable. It's so comfy, it inspires feelings of guilt. And like, not even feelings of guilt for the seriously disadvantaged. Feelings of guilt that 99% of the people on earth don't have this exact bedding combo and they're ALL missing out. Luckily, it's so comfortable I won't lose any sleep over it. Are they pricey? Yes. Yes they are. Being totally honest, none of my GOOD sheets were cheap, though. Good bedding costs more because it takes more yards of finer, softer thread to make it. But let me ask you this. How much did you spend on your car, and how much time to you spend in IT every day? If you spent $50,000 on a car you drive for 30 minutes a day, isn't it worth it to spend $200 on a set of sheets you're in for 8 hours a day? I mean, a lot of people are going to gripe about the economics of good quality bedding, and I'm telling you that argument falls short with me. You spend 1/3 of your life in bed. Shouldn't that merit a little investment in a quality product? So yes, these sheets are pricey. But if it ups your comfort level even half a notch on the "comfy" scale, tell me that's not worth it. I love em. I think they're worth the cost. They make satin feel like sandpaper. If you have a "satin sheets" fan in your life, the best thing you could do is buy them a set of these sheets. You'll never hear another word about "ooh, satin sheets blah blah " ever again. 5 stars. ... show more

These sheets are like a gentle whisper of coolness on a warm summer night. It really is like cold silk -- soft, gentle, light, flowy, and cooling. The set includes an extra-deep fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillowcases. The fitted sheet has very deep pockets that have stayed in place on our extra-thick mattress better than any other sheet ever has. The flat sheet, however, slips around all of the time. We don't use a blanket during the summer, so there really isn't anything to hold it in place aside from keeping it tightly tucked on 3 sides. We've learned to keep it in the middle of the bed to prevent it from slipping to the floor. The first thing you notice when you open them is how incredibly smooth they are. The CoolSpa blend—part cooling nylon, part spandex—feels luxurious against your skin. And the best part is that it actively wicks away excess heat. So, even if you’re the kind of sleeper who generates more warmth than a campfire (*cough*myhusband*cough*), these sheets will help to keep you cool all night long. They’re quick-drying, which means no more damp sheets after laundry day. I was actually impressed by how quickly they dried on my Air-fluff dryer setting, which usually can't manage to dry anything. They’re virtually wrinkle-free, so you won’t spend precious morning minutes ironing out creases. These do claim to be stain-resistant. We've been using them for almost two months now with multiple washings (Woolite Damage Defense, no bleach) and I am not seeing any discoloration, despite the fact that they are white. I usually won't buy white sheets, I've had too many bad experiences where they had to be thrown out either because I couldn't stand to look at them anymore or because bleach made them threadbare. I have very high hopes that these will stay clean and pristine for a long time, but will certainly update my review if I run into future issues. In the end, I HIGHLY recommend these sheets for a cool, comfortable, and relaxing night's sleep. I wasn't sure they would be worth the price, but after a few months, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to cotton sheets.
