I have no problem getting to the number one when texting from the front screen now! I can also use finger print with ease! This case is one of the more beautiful ones I've purchased. It looks like everything was well thought out when they designed it, the ease of use and is very much appreciated. This case is more than I expected and is very well built and feels solid. It is rugged and fits very tight. It is a solid case. No kick stand. Where the spine opens is just for pen storage. You can no longer swipe the screen from the top, unless you have skinny fingers. The "metal" is just the parts that clamp the actual screens, and the back, around the TPU section for the wireless charging. Hinges themselves are metal, but the ENTIRE "bulge" for the hinge is plastic. Also the kickstand ONLY works in portrait. You can not use any other screen protector/camera protector with this case, with out mods, and the plastic screen protector doesn't seem to want to peel off the front plate. Screws are tiny (no surprise), but from factory they are too tight IMHO, considering they HAVE to be removed to put the phone in the case. Fingerprint reader requires more effort, and likely disables the "lab" function of swipe to pull down/push up the notification pane, as you can barely touch it. It works fine for unlocking. (You can shove the tip of your finger in, and still get the swipe, but it requires actual effort.) The sPen/kickstand takes too much effort to unsnap, which makes me think once it wears in, it's gonna be loose, and the hinge on the kickstand part is too loose. Spen is really only held in by the kickstand cover. ... show more

Update: the case broke and didn't last a year the plastic covering the front screen is warping or something because it's getting harder and harder to type. You can feel the bumps in the plastic protective part. Definitely would not recommend!!! I'm very dissatisfied with the part around the charger is small and none of my Cords will fit to charge the phone. I don't live in a town so I can't just pop into a store for a new cord. It is rugged and seems to be a good case but the being unable to charge is quite a drawback ... show more

I'd give it 5 stars....I love it but the paint is chipping off and it's been on only an hour. It does everything it should so it's purely cosmetic but for the money I'd buy something else. Could be great but like I said, paint is cheap. You still can wireless charge, use all functions....it will probably last a long time.......but the paint......but the paint....downer! ... show more

I have used expensive names brands and tough cases. Each one of the other brands had a major weakness or broke. This is the best case I have used so far. I can access the S Pen when the case is unfolded. I removed the included screen protector and used my own privacy screen. It is easy to hold in my hand. The case has a lip so that I can lay the phone face down unfolded. The metal frame and screws give extra security the case won’t fall apart when dropped. There are some things that could be improved. The front screen hinges block part of the screen edge. It is difficult to access content and notifications at the edge of the screen. The fingerprint sensor is hard to access. The metal frame got in the way of the fingerprint sensor and the case back plate didn’t fit flush. The rear ultra-wide camera is partially blocked when you zoom out. I don’t take a lot of pictures, so not a deal breaker for me. I still like this case better than the others and I will order a second one in a different color. ... show more
