  • VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!
Size: 22L
This thing does what its supposed to do. Worked flawlessly right out of the box, heats up very well, and cleans parts as advertised. For those having problems, make sure you use the right solvents for the job. Carb cleaner/parts cleaner to remove grease and gunk, EVAPO-RUST for rusty nuts and bolts, and Simple Green Industrial, dish soap, or even Windex for lighter jobs on more sensitive materials like plastics (be careful with the heat setting). It is not loud - Ignore the whiners. This unit has the basic control knob set up - Anything else and you're likely paying for something you don't need. I'm into fixing up old cars and wish I would have bought one of these years ago. This is the 22L model. Holds about 4 gallons. I put in 2 gallons of parts cleaner from AutoZone mixed with 2 gallons of water. If I could find a unit big enough for intake manifolds, I'd buy it. ... show more

  • Works Well
Size: 15L
Used this when I rebuilt the carbs on my BMW Airhead. It cleans quite well. CAUTION: don't use an ordinary Simple Green / water solution. Simple Green will dull, turn gray aluminum parts. Use another cleaner sparingly, or use the heavy duty Simple Green Product for aircraft parts cleaning. It doesn't take much. This cleaner's very hot water and great ultrasonics will do the job. Timer is 20 minutes max. ... show more

  • This is awesome for cleaning my handguns
Size: 6L
Got this to clean my three Sig handguns. This product just simply works!! I use the L&R "Safety Ultrasonic Weapon Cleaning Solution" and "Safety Ultrasonic Weapon Lubricating Solution" and could not be happier.

  • Very powerful
Size: 6L
This is my sixth ultrasonic cleaner in about thirty years. So far, it has been the most powerful and effective unit I've ever used. I usually pay more than 350 dollars but this was only $200.00. One drawback is the noise, don't buy this if you are sensitive to loud vibration noise, it is very loud and irritating. I have mine in a shop where it doesn't matter, we just turn it on and go work in another area. The heater is also great and works fast, I turn it on about thirty minutes before I am going to need it and it's ready when I am. I love this unit. 4200 ... show more

  • Over priced. Poor directions and customer support.
Size: 6L
I had previously owned an old Fisher Scientific ultrasonic cleaner. Worked awesome until the digital controls failed and are no longer supported. After a lot of research , I decided on DK Sonics. They had a website that seems legitimate. It appears they have their own factory which includes an engineering department and if you can believe their website , they custom build ultrasonic cleaners for industrial applications.( NOTE: I have been deceived by fake websites before.) So I purchased a Model DK600 with old school manual time and temperature controls. The DK Sonic instructions stated that it should not be used for more than one hour. A few sentences on , the instructions indicate it should not be used for more than 30 minutes. NO JOKE! My old Fisher Scientific was being used for hours on end with no problems. It would still be working if the digital controls had not failed and were no longer supported. I contacted DK Sonics and asked for clarification on the operating time instructions. The following is DK Sonics actual " word for word" response. " Hello Long-term use will increase the damage to the machine , but we have a one-year warranty period, if it breaks during this period , you can apply for a refund or exchange." I had asked how long it could actually be used continuously ( 30 minutes or one hour) and how long the cool down period is. Apparently my question was too technical so they gave their canned response. Pros Manual controls Ultrasonic action seems good. Cons Can only be used for 30 minutes or one hour based on two separate sentences in the instructions. The heater temperature control goes to 80C. The optimum cleaning temperature should be around 60C. At 60C the unit would likely have a longer service life and less of the unknown cool down period. I believe the temperature should be limited to 60C. Higher temperature will shorten transducer life. The temperature should be limited to 60C. I set the temperature at 60C. You should too. TOO EXPENSIVE! Buy a different brand for half the money. The noise may bother some but it's not too difficult to use hearing protection. POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT! They simply don't seem to understand technical questions. No degassing cycle. Not a real problem but needs to be mentioned . Just draw the water 3-4 hours before using and allow it to sit exposed to the air. This will vent gases present in tap water allowing the ultrasonic cleaner to function properly when it is first started. The parts basket sits directly on the inside of the SS vat. It does have resilient feet to help isolate from the vat but I don't expect them to last long. The vat should be suspended from the top of the vat. This would eliminate the contact point at the vat to parts basket point and allow for better and longer transducer life. Would I purchase this again? NO, I would purchase the least expensive unit (Half the price of a DK Sonics)that is similar and has a one year warranty. I am betting all these ultrasonic cleaners are made with similar components. When you buy your ultrasonic cleaner, make sure you know where your purchase records are. I am betting it will be going back to the manufacturer on warranty. ... show more

  • Must have
Size: 3L
This is a must have in your shop. I use a drop of dish liquid to the water and then let it do its magic. This is perfect for getting smaller engine carbs cleaned

  • Great Value for the Price
Size: 30L
This is my first ultrasonic cleaner, and while I've only owned it for a couple of months, it so far has done an outstanding job of cleaning the parts I put in it. This product is made in China, and is at least half the price of a US-made equivalent. While I may buy a US product one day to compliment this one, I couldn't pass up this product when I went to buy my first machine. It seems to be built well enough to last a while, and if it holds up to 2-3 years at least of good use, this will turn out to be an excellent investment. Others complained of parts missing in the box, but mine came well packaged, with all parts and the manual. I'll follow up later if there are issues, but so far so good! Very happy. ... show more
