  • Works great and looks great!
Haven't had to use tech support yet, so I didn't rate that. This is an awesome little stove!!

  • Amazing pellet stove
Best pellet stove I have ever seen. Heats so much better than the 2 other pellet stoves I had. Very quiet and heats up very quickly. Everyone raves about the heat output. Well built and very heavy duty. I highly recommend this stove.

  • Unbelievable
This says it'll heat a 2200 sq ft house with mild outside temps. So it should keep my 1400 sq ft house hot when it's cold...IT DOES! Now instead of being too cold it keeps our house 77-78 ° when it's in the low thirties high twenties. I suppose it's a good problem to have. I think it goes through more pellets than advertised but still waaay cheaper than oil heat since it's still $5.60 a gallon. Thanks again joe! ... show more

  • Great product! Great customer service.
This stove has been great. Puts out good heat, it’s quiet, and The controls are very easy to use. I did have the power switch go bad but the customer service has taken great care of the problem without any hassle.

  • Solid, nice looking, reasonably priced stove; but…
Temperature control is off. Set it at 61 degrees (it’s lowest setting) and it still calls for ‘level 3’ heat occasionally even when it’s heated the house to 75d, or even 80d. Sometimes it’s calling just Level 1 heat but it is still too much verses staying in ‘Idle’ state. Don’t know why it is doing this. The ‘Eco mode’ (complete shut downs at a set temperature) is not practical due to being hard on the ignition, having long shutdown cycles, and creating lots of smoke every time it re-fires. This over-calling situation on the standard thermostat mode makes for lots of wasted pellets. On the lowest temperature setting I’m going through more than a 40# high quality bag per a day (last bag lasted 14 hours) and the house is much too warm, even though its in Maine late fall, and an older house. I’m turning the stove off for 10 hours at a time now letting the house go down to low 50s. I would prefer not to be doing this. That all said, the product seems well built and well designed otherwise. And reasonably priced. As for buying through Amazon, box on pallet arrived via FexEx in rough shape. Wasn’t sure I should accept it. Had to hammer back the top plate’s support posts and hammer out both side panels. Still a nominal two inch scratch in white paint on one side panel. ... show more

  • Problematic from the start
I had this professionally installed back in November. When it works, it's great; but it's inconsistent at best. I've spent a lot of back-and-forth with technical support and have gotten to the point where I can keep it going most of the time, but it needs a lot more attention than I feel it should. The first few days were great! Ran like a champ on either temperature-based or manual mode. As per the norm, after 3-4 days, it needed the ash removed and cleaned out. I did this, and at that point I couldn't get it to ignite. It would sit on "Igniting" for 7-10 minutes and then throw error messages to open the door due to too much smoke and failure to ignite. Technical support had me back and forth, messing with all sorts of settings, but nothing would work. Eventually I just started feeding wood pellets into the igniter tray and it would start. Usually runs at least 3-4 hours before it just routinely elects to stop feeding pellets and then the unit will beep, power off, and display "Low temperature!" at which point I can't interface with it and have to pull the power and then power it back up. Then it'll work. usually. Sometimes it'll run a couple days no problem; some days it'll work for a few hours and then just say, "Nope! F you. No more pellets!" and do the Low temperature thing. Support was mostly responsive and tried to help, but sometimes I had to ping them a couple times for a response. They never followed up to see how things were going after I gave up. Fortunately, my son and I are around enough to treat it like the wet campfire that it is, but if I could go back in time I'd definitely get a different product. If it was my primary heat source, I'd have shipped it back. ... show more

I work on pellet stoves for a living. The comfort bilt line is hands down the best pellet stove. Watch their youtube tutorials. They pretty much show you everything you need to know. They show you how to maximize your units effectiveness. We have an HP50 and my wife LOVES it. It has no problem getting our 1600 sq ft. 2 story home.
