Bought this to use for detoxing my locs and it worked perfectly. It was a bit difficult to blow up though. I would recommend this prodcut.

    • Great in theory, but not practical
I liked the portability of this hair basin but there are some major design flaws of inflatable basins. If you rest your neck on the support, it pushes it down and the water ends up flowing out and flooding your floor. To avoid that, you can’t fill the basin up past a couple inches, which to me, defeats the purpose of the basin. ... show more

This basin is excellently designed with quality material. My wife and I, we provide fulltime care to my mother in law, and we have used two other blowup basins throughout the years and this is the best one yet. Firstly, there are no pointy bits that poke into the neck. My mum say this basin is definitely more comfortable for her to use. Secondly, this basin is just made from a more solid material. The plastic seems thicker and it’s overall it slightly heavier. And the drainage works smoothly too. Having used previous basin, a drainage that works smoothly is particularly important. I kind of like until I had to put it to use. As you can see half of your head will be submerged. It's not a good idea if you want to soak your dreads/locs. You also have to be mindful of how much water you put in the basin cuz it will over flow once the person lay down to soak/wwsh they hair in it. Oh need to use something for neck support ... show more

Very well made, this is not the one with the head pillow built in which I knew in advance but wanted to try. I have to say I like using the one with the built in pillow better for my adult disabled daughter. She doesnt have the best neck control so the pillow helps more.

    • Draining is hassle free!! The tube does not close/pinch shut.
Great product. We were given one of these in hospital. It was a boon to our home care regime. The only trouble was the drain tube was kinda flimsy and would draw shut when draining, causing the basin stop draining. This was ordered as a replacement. THANK GOODNESS!! The drain tube is more substantial and remains open the entire time, even makes a sucking noise it drains so well. The bathing regime is that much easier for my daughter and granddaughter.
