Works amazing! As soon as you put it on it starts to alleviate the pain. The bandages they include work really well to cushion the area and they stay put even for me who works on my feet all day in a very warm environment. I will say though the smell is awful. It smells like rotten eggs however as soon as you put the bandage over it most of the smell disappeared. I had a super painful ingrown on the corner of my big toe, so bad I couldn't even wear a sock. I was dreading going to the podiatrist because I have getting shots! I decided to try this as a last resort, kind of doubtful that it would help my terrible pain. I used the gel as instructed (the gel had no smell at all unlike some of the other reviews!) for about 5 days. The pain reduced and I was able to lift the corner and clip the jagged edge that had been causing my misery! This product is a literal miracle! I got this for an ingrown toenail I had that had begun to break through the skin on the top of my toe. It was to the point that I was considering Partial nail avulsion. I had been trying to remove the ingrown nail myself at home and had ended up just breaking off part of my nail. The piece buried in my skin and beginning to grow through it was still there, and despite my best efforts, every time I tried to dig it out and remove it, I only succeeded in irritating my skin and causing more pain. Anyway, when I got this, I put the gel on and left it. I didn't see any difference and was frankly very disappointed. It wasn't doing too much for the pain and I wasn't making it any easier to get the nail out. I decided to put some more gel on, cover it, then go to sleep. This morning, I did notice that the pain was nearly gone and I was able to work without being bothered by the pain. (I work in a vet clinic and am always running around) I just got home from work about an hour ago and decided to see if there was any change. There was! With just a bit of pressure and the help of some tweezers, the nail piece came right out! It was an instant relief and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. I will let you know that the smell of the gel is horrid. Almost like rotten eggs, but I think it's worth it for the results. I would also recommend getting a small ingrown nail removal kit. The product does work. It does take time, but it will soften the skin around your toes to help you trim down your calloused areas warning, the smell is like farts. My entire family is disgusted by the smell. The smell doesn’t last long, maybe two hours, but it is really bad and smells like eggs, sulfur, and farts. ... show more

I actually ended up loving this product and it was a life saver when I had a case of super painful ingrowns. Just follow the directions and relief will come soon! I thought it was a good value for the money and there was plenty of supplies for many reapplications.

I was desperate for relief and saw the positive reviews of this product. It definitely got rid of the pain. I followed the instructions to the letter and was pleased that it helped. But later, the section of the nail that the medication was used on (side of my toe) came off. I used this in April 2024 and it is now mid-November and the section of my nail that came off has NEVER grown back! This bothers me a lot and I keep checking for growth but don't see any. I sure hope it will grow back but it sure isn't looking like it will. (As other reviewers mentioned, it does have a horrible smell.) ... show more
