The primary selling point of this accessory is its improved comfort over the stock face pad. The PU leather material feels premium against the skin and is easier to clean than the original foam interface. This is particularly beneficial for intense gaming sessions or when sharing the headset with friends. The breathable foam used in this replacement is a game-changer. It effectively reduces the heat buildup that often occurs during extended use, making longer VR sessions much more comfortable. I've noticed a significant decrease in facial sweat, which was a common issue with the original. Installation was straightforward, requiring no technical expertise. Just pull off the old face plate and pop this one right in. Fits well without any issues. The face pad fits securely onto the Quest 2, and I haven't experienced any shifting during use. One minor drawback is that it slightly alters the fit of the headset. It took me a few minutes to readjust the straps to find the optimal position. Once it's properly adjusted, the comfort level far surpasses that of the original interface. The light-blocking properties of this face pad are also way better than the original. It does an excellent job of preventing light leakage, which enhances immersion in VR environments. It does not come with great instructions but its packaged nice and you get 2 face pads, and 1 plastic frame, the plastic frame is a direct fit, and the pads velcro onto it. One is already velcroed and pre-installed. I had no issues installing it after watching some Youtube videos of people changing them out, but basically you want to remove it from the bottom first, where the nose piece is, lift that up first and work your hands around the rim from the bottom up, very similar to clicking on and off the back of a laptop computer or cell phone case. Fits snug on my smaller face, where as the factory foam pad had a ton of light coming in around my nose. This totally blocks out the light. The only negative is PSU sticks to wet skin so it "feels" different, but its very soft but the positive is, won't absorb sweat and smell over time or deteriorate like foam does. ... show more

I was having issues with my Quest 2 lenses getting foggy when doing exercise games, so I thought I would try this, and it really does prevent the fogging! The vents are positioned in a way that does now allow any reality in, so that's nice! We wouldn't want any reality! The cushions are nice and comfortable and a bit softer and lighter than the originals. It snapped into my Quest 2 exactly like the original and I haven't had any issues with the fit of it at all. I'm very happy this solves the foggy lens issues; my exercise games are much more fun! It comes with two types of foam pad that secure in place with hook and loop fasteners, they both fit well, and I don't get foggy lenses with either of them. ... show more

This pad replacement fit perfectly onto my Quest 2 and installation was very easy. Although I don't find it particularly more comfortable than the original pad, it does have some clear benefits. First, it doesn't absorb sweat like the original pad, so it's nice from a sanitation perspective, and is overall easier to clean. Second, the "lightproof nose pad" works! With the original pad, you could absolutely see right through the space around your nose. With this new pad, that is totally gone, and it makes the experience much more immersive. ... show more
