  • This Jacket is Warm and feels great for colder Fall weather.
Size: XX-Large Color: Sail Red/Spice
This jacket is true to size, and is made with great materials. It is mean for colder weather, and is weather resistant. I would wear this in the cold rain, or during a winter storm. This jacket is water proof. I like the way it fits and is roomy. You have functional pockets. It is a little thick for driving, but you can unbutton it in the car or take it off. It is easy care, and can be washed and dried. ... show more

  • Very warm! Lining material is more than just a gimmick
Size: Medium Color: Stone Green/Shark
The lining of this jacket is really interesting, it’s like a much thicker version of those mylar reflective emergency blankets, and it is warm! The lining material feels a little strange against the skin at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly and don’t even notice it now. The jacket is very nicely made as I expect from Columbia, although the sizing seems a bit small; I got a medium and it’s quite tight on me whereas my other medium jackets fit just right. In any case, I do quite like the olive green color, which looks really sharp with the black accents and it’s been plenty warm for fall weather so far. Whenever anyone sees the interior lining, they always ask me about it; I’m not sure if that’s a bonus or a negative yet, but overall I think it’s an excellent jacket that should last me for several years. ... show more

  • Very Poor QA on this Jacket
Size: Large Color: Stone Green/Shark
I got this Jacket when it was on sales for under $100 dollars. Loved the look and the features then I received it. I wear a larger and all fit well until I put the hood up and the front brim fell over my eyes and touched the tip of my nose. The hood was completely unusable, I could not believe Columbia would sell such an ill build jacket. I was about to return it but wife said see what our tailor could do anything because I really loved the color and style. They charged me $25 dollar to reduce the hood size so that it fit acceptably. I figured I only spent $96 on the jacket so I would be OK. I would not have paid a penny more for this jacket. Now to the other major flaws in this Jackets design. The backing for teh Omni heat reflective lining is as many have pointed out, it does not breath at all. The material is almost like wind breaker tight knitting and gets sweaty very easily. This jack is sold as an athletic jacket but if you do anything that works up a sweat in it you will stay wet, underarm zipper are really needed but not thier. I have had other Omni Heat jackets and did not have this problem. Very poor material choice So I know we can not be athletic in this Jacket so I figured good for just wearing normally. Now the problem with this is this coat will not be much good below freezing as it's very thinly insulated so below 20 degrees and you will be cold. Overall a very good looking jacket that suffers from poor choice of materials and construction, obvious QA issues when manufacturing. Very sloppy for Columbia and will likely make this the last Columbia coat I buy. It's worth spending a little more for a better quality coat. This is a shame as Columbia use to make a decent coat for the money. This and the last one I bought where just poorly made Chinese garbage. ... show more

  • Very large, Very warm
Size: 3X Tall Color: Black
This is a very nice and extremely warm jacket, definitely meant for spending longer periods in the cold. The sizing seems to run big.

  • high quality hooded jacket
Size: Small Color: Black
This looks like it'll be really warm in the winter. I got a size small for my teenage son, with the hopes that he'd grow into it sooner. Size-wise, it fits me 5'7" currently ~155lbs a little snugly on the chest, but as I understand it it's supposed to have an athletic fit and move well with the body. The arm length is good. The black one had some surprising flair with its gold-metallic interior - presumably this material helps keep in the heat. Overall we're pretty happy with it. We've had Columbia jackets, fleeces, and parkas in the past and this is of similar quality to what we've expect from this brand. ... show more
