  • Helpful, But Incomplete
These cards are great for someone like me, who's new to the game and needs a quick reference. However, multiple spells are missing from the pack. Bane and shatter are two such examples. I know there are blank cards, but that really doesn't help much.

  • Best. D&D.Purchase. Ever.
To anyone who plays a casting character, these will change your life. I am old school and use the players handbook for my character building (yeah yeah roll 20 is great) I like physical copy character sheets... Anyways! I always just played a barbarian or fighter because I hated how much time it took to look up spells and write them down OR try to quickly flip to the page you need so you could cast. Then I found these!!! I own these and the Arcane cards and boy let me tell you... Life is but a dream. I pick out my spells and have them in front of me with all the info I need. Also makes it easy to keep track of what spell slots you've used. 10/10 for me. I can finally play a Warlock like I've dreamed of. ... show more

  • Solid Product. Will definitively buy other decks.
Cards appear to printed on a sturdy laminated stock, which should hold up fairly well. The product is definitely worth the price. While the text on the cards is a bit small that should be expected. These cards are the size of typical playing cards so the font needs to be the size that it is, otherwise you couldn’t fit all of the information on a single card. If you do have poor eyesight or prefer larger text when reading, the players handbook may be a better option for you. You could also take advantage of resources like D&D beyond and pull up the spells you need on your tablet. ... show more

  • Perfect for those in need
It has been a great addition to the table, I no longer have to look on my phone or in the players handbook to find spells, I just take a look at these cards, although you really should get all the different card decks to really get the full effect. As a DM I thank whoever made these every time I have to describe a spell I would recommend if you have money to spend, but it isn't necessary at all ... show more

  • A terrific aid for spellcasters!
Spellbook cards are without a doubt the way to go! I have the bard and the arcane sets, and it is so much easier to have cards out in front of you. Plus, you can easily pass a card to the DM (or another player) rather than finding it in a book or reading it aloud. My only minor quibbles are that there are a few (newer) spells missing, and the blank cards (for writing in your own new or homebrew spells) are coated the same as the other cards. The coating is great on the regular cards, but ink just won't stay when you write your own. Pick your handwritten cards up once and they are smeared. ... show more

  • Perfect for my sessions
Very nice and easy to use. I love being able to have my spells in hand and not have to look up what they do in the manual.
