Im looking to wrap my experimental aircraft wings, long story, I had paint damage do to fuel spillage and a mat being left on the wing. I never liked the the paint quality anyway and have been looking to either re paint or wrap the it. I've been looking for the correct color most of the orange wraps are just yellow. The Wrap went on easy I put it on dry, videos show it can be installed wet, if I do a bigger section I think it would be easier to get the bubbles out applying it wetted. The info says it has a removable clear cap but I could not find one, like on 3M 2080. The wrap seems thicker and harder to cut over 3M wich will be good. ... show more

I have not used the product yet, but am sharing some pictures of what it looks like in the shade and direct sunlight and at different angles. You may not know it has a bright metal flake color unless the light hits it just right — perhaps within 10-15 degrees of perpendicular to the vinyl. Otherwise it appears as a dark burgundy similar to red wine. I think it would be really cool on a large surface. ... show more

I used the 1’ x 5’ roll to wrap a 2014 Honda Accord sedan B pillar. I’ve tried other VViViD and 3M wraps in piano black and this has the clearest reflection with barely any to no orange peel. The wrap had swirls from the application but I was able to use a heat gun to remove them.

So this is like applying contact paper to a non flat surface. We had four hands trying to wrap the side mirror of a truck with no bubbles; which we got with a blow dryer and the plastic scraper that comes with it. So you get excited no air bubble but then you go to make the final cuts and they are jagged. We used a brand new razor blade so not sure if it was us making terrible cuts or what but we ended up taking it off. Maybe if we pre-cut it? But we just weren’t sure if we could pull it tight enough without enough leverage(extra) ... show more
