I like to add these with every wash. You know they are effective after the wash has completed and they are discolored. Even after several washings, some reds still bleed a little and these collect that leftover dye. Good value as compared to some other brands I've used.

I love that these work great. I also loved the price. I don't love that the sheets are very thin, & that I had to use 3-5 sheets each time, & they were all "filled up" completely after 1 washing, either in cold water, or in warm water. I appreciate these sheets very much, but it's not a big savings for me because of having to use so many sheets each time, compared to "the other brand" that has thicker sheets, & for me, can be used multiple times, causing less garbage waste. I will keep these for back up, for when I can't get "the other brand." I recommend these, but with the "warning" that you might need to use more than 3 or 4 each time. ... show more

I was skeptical that these things would work. I threw them in a laundry load of new flannel shirts and when I found the little sheets in the load I was amazed how grey they were. I threw them in a don't load of whites and they were off colored, not near as dramatically discolored, but definitely picked up some residual from something. There was a noticable difference in the whites. Obviously not rigorous scientific test, but something positive is happening toward toward the manufacturers claim. As a test I left the used ones in and added new sheets, the old used sheets continued to get darker and new ones picked up discoloring substances. ... show more
