Most dryer sheets are overly scented. I usually prefer these because they work well for everything you put in the dryer. So whether you don't want heavily scented clothes, towels, sheets or cat blankets, these work. I do sometimes use scented fabric softener liquids which I don't think are as heavily scented as most dryer sheets. Sometimes I'll still throw one of these in the dryer even if I've used fabric softener. I find they take away static effectively. I only need to use one sheet per load. So when you want absolutely no extra scent these are perfect. These are great for general use in the dryer. No lingering odors and always seem to work quite well for the purpose intended. I use these all the time since I do not like the scented ones with smells that are pretty overpowering. Good at reducing static, good at softening clothing and bedding right in the dryer. No scent to irritate nasal passages, no balls to bounce loudly around in the dryer or get stuck in fitted sheets. Not alot to say other than what I wrote in the title except for: the one thing I don't really care for about these is they don't really soften very well unless you use several. If you do use several, then your towels are fluuufffy and soft and squishy. One sheet just doesn't do it for us but it may for you. Excellent for getting rid of static cling.
