  • Works for what I wanted
It's an up to date atlas. The pages are bound in the center so it's a little hard to hold the book open enough to see everything. Overall for the price it works fine and is very helpful in trying to follow the news.

  • Quite useful as a reference
I had no idea that The Netherlands was so close to England. Also noted that all the colonial powers are concentrated in a relatively small area. The seas must have been very crowded. I keep this atlas nearby when I read my novels to get a feel for locations, distances between them, etc. For example: The Sahara and The Sudan in Beau Gest, Amsterdam in any Amsterdam Cops book and The Coffee Trader, Haiti in The Comedians (Graham Greene) and the villages around Mexico City in The Power and the Glory. ... show more

  • Nice readable maps and related data
I wanted a simple map atlas with a useful index. This atlas covers all these bases.

  • Atlas
Very average layout. Nothing special. Not that easy to use because it's hard to open flat so you can follow a map from one page to the next.

  • World in a book
So much has changed in the world over the past several years . This was great for new changesy

  • Great Atlas!
Seemed to be inclusive & in fine detail. Finding a good atlas that doesn't weigh a ton was a great find! If I need another atlas, I'd buy this again.

  • Great gift.
Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Instead of a dust collecting globe and having to go to it every time she wants to reference a location, she has it at her side,
