Some peroxide and baking soda toothpaste can be very salty, tasting due to the baking soda, but this one is actually not too bad. I did a little research, and I found that Armen Hammer baking soda toothpaste is one of the best toothpaste, as far as being the least harmful to the enamel of your teeth. Many toothpaste can be too abrasive and actually wear down the enamel, and Armen Hammer is considered one of the least abrasively damaging toothpastes available. So if your dentist is constantly mentioning how you have worn them will do too hard brushing. This is probably one of the best things you can do to reduce the amount of damage you’re doing to your teeth. Of course it’s a good idea not to brush too hard but it’s also important not to brush too soft either. Of course, this toothpaste can cause dry mouth just like any toothpaste… Probably more so than most gels, but that’s because gel toothpaste is actually designed to not be as drying to the mouth… So it’s kind of apples and oranges. I have had this toothpaste for quite a while now and It's my time to reorder it. I like how the flavor was mild, it's not very strong mint like other toothpaste and I can feel the whitening after years of using this toothpaste. For my use, this gives me a very clean taste, doesn't make my teeth sensitive, and no discomfort at all. Finding this specific listing was hard tho.
