I was really worried that this desk would be difficult to assemble or that there would be parts missing, but i had absolutely no issues with this desk. I found the instructions to be easy to follow, and it only took me a couple of hours working by myself to get it put together AND get my computer hooked up and running. By the end, i had extra screws, and no visible damage to the desk, and it's very sturdy for everything I would use it for and not wobbly at all. It is however a little shorter than described, by about an inch and a half, but that worked out for me as i'm a little shorter, just keep that in mind when you place your order! ... show more

I've put together a lot of cheap furniture from amazon, and the assembly can be a nightmare. Especially coming from china where they don't always do the best translations on budget products. This desk was incredibly quick and easy to put together, the instructions were very concise, and there was also an included QR code to scan for users to watch a video of the desk being assembled for extra visual aide. Other users complained about cosmetic damage from shipping, so it can probably be a bit of a gamble but at this price point I felt comfortable rolling those dice and I'm pleased to say it arrived without a scratch on any of the boards. Despite only weight 45 pounds when assembled, the desk is extremely sturdy, it does not wobble, shake, creak or bend with a full desktop setup and array of items strewn across the top. Here's my one complaint: I have my extremely large and heavy PC tower on the little shelf underneath the desk and it supports it just fine, although I did find that one of the legs (labeled the U piece in shipping and in the instructions) is far shorter than the other three legs and did not reach the floor without a support I added. Had I not been able to find an adequate solution to this, the weight of the PC tower may have broken shelf without four points of contact, who knows. It was an odd oversight to be sure. ... show more

The instruction manual was very confusing but we ended up figuring it out. Just a heads up make sure you measure because 19 inches of desk depth(the space from the chair to the wall) is very small, I prepared ahead of time by buying a monitor arm to give myself more space, if you don't have a monitor arm it might be very cramped. Also, the images shown on the amazon listing are very misleading, the thickness of the desktop in the photos looks a lot thicker than it actually is, the actual desk is thinner than my index finger. Also the box it was placed in was damaged and one side was fully opened. The amazon delivery driver didn't even take a picture of it when it was delivered. Luckily everything was still in the box, but it was weird that the box was fully opened and had holes in it, I've never had an experience like that with amazon, but I am very happy that the desk had no damage and had all the parts still in the box. Despite the desk being pretty thin it seems to be very sturdy and holds my dual monitor arm, mouse, keyboard, usb hub, and anything else I decide to put on it. I wanted a new desk and I wanted it to be smaller. The price was right and easy to put together. The only thing I don't like is the drawer. The draw is made of fabric and it is hard to slide in and out.

The directions are pictographic style and are a little confusing until you figure out the orientations of the pieces. I built the desk OPPOSITE of what the pictures illustrated and that was probably why it was a confusing experience. The desk is stout and has a minimalist design which I like.
