  • Extra sleeping spot ...
Size: Tw"
Purchased for a grandchild visiting and works fine. When rolling up afterward I noticed that the inflation nozzle hole was at the opposite end of the instructions - but the instructions indicated that the nozzle would be at the instruction end. So my guess is it was manufactured wrong - hence the good price. So just need a little extra umph when rolling up to expel all the air. ... show more

  • Did the job…
Size: Tw"
Held air for the week in subzero hunting temps. Save my back too now that I am older and body is less forgiving. Time will tell to see if it is still good for next year.

  • I use this is a primary bed in an RV
Size: Tw"
While it is extremely easy to inflate as long as you have a pump (not included) and is rather comfortable as far as air mattresses go, it really isn't all that durable (I buy a new one every 1-3 months for one of two reasons: Bear with me because I don't have the faintest idea how to describe the first issue I have with these mattresses, but I will try). You will notice that the air mattress has that "upholstered look" such as what you would see in a living room sofa or easy chair where, instead of being a completely flat surface, it's got rows and columns of that "look" that's as if it's made of stuffing beneath a cloth upholstery that is "gathered" at intervals and has one of those "buttons" sewn from the front of the "sofa" or "easy chair" to the back, giving the furniture a very plush, soft, look. I do apologize, but that's the best description I can give, even though the air mattress doesn't have those buttons, it DOES have that same sort of APPEARANCE...which is important for the purposes of this review. Instead of actual buttons that are sewn into the sofa that hold the desired shape, on this air-mattress it is either heat treated/melted/vulcanized or glued to hold the shape you see in the photos. As I mentioned, I have to buy a new one of these things every month to three months...Well, it is SPECIFICALLY due to this very feature of the air-mattress that I have to do so. After between 1 to 3 months, you will be peacefully at rest when you will suddenly hear a LOUD, loud enough to sometimes scare the crap out of you, LOL, "*POP*!" at which time you will then notice that one of these areas I've described, to lose its shape. Instead of the flat yet upholstered appearance you have been sleeping on, there will now be a rather large and uncomfortable bump at the point of where the method used to give the mattress its shape has failed. Sometimes this failure can be "put up with" because it's not in an area that makes the mattress too uncomfortable. However, once one of these "POP" situations occurs, there are more coming along right behind it in short order. So, after 3 or so BANGS from it popping out of shape, you will find that you are left with a very uncomfortable BAG FULL OF AIR that is nearly impossible to sleep on. The SECOND point of failure has been a leaking seam (not my fault, item was returned and I was promptly refunded (in a brick and mortar store...prior to my joining Amazon Prime) or something sharp inadvertently jabs the air mattres causing a leak...either way the mattress is losing air fast enough that you will wake up after less than four hours and have to refill it with air. Aggravating, to say the least. Those have been the two failures with this air-mattress that I have encountered...99% of the time it's that "upholstered look" (which gives the mattress its rigidity and shape when inflated) that fails causing the mattress to turn into a shapeless bag of air that is literally IMPOSSIBLE to sleep on.that fails while the other 2% is some kind of leak (either a seam leak right out of the box, or something I did to give it a puncture. I must add that I am *EXTREMELY* CAREFUL with my air mattresses because I do *NOT* enjoy having to spend the $$ to purchase a new one every 1-3 months to begin with. Now, to be fair to Coleman, this mattress *IS* a VERY COMFORTABLE air mattress. And, in full-disclosure, I weigh between 200 and 235 (my weight has fluctuated like that for a very long time and is just how I am) and am 6 feet 2 inches tall. I'm not a little boy!! This mattress supports me and my trashed back very well and I find it to be a very, very comfortable air mattress. Rather than give this mattress a poor rating and giving the impression to the readers of this comment that Coleman makes a garbage product, I feel it is important to be fair and make it clear that a) I am *NOT* a little person by any stretch of the imagination, b) I use this air mattress on top of the "sofa" in the RV because the "sofa" is my primary bed and all the cushions are smashed flat to where I would otherwise be sleeping of a fabric covered piece of plywood. this air mattress fits PERFECTLY on the "sofa" in the RV. ... show more

  • A step up from sleeping on the ground
Size: Tw"
I purchased this for use during our occasional overnight camping trips to keep off of the ground. For that it worked perfectly. I was much more comfortable and slept fairly well. I really like the compact size as we have a small tent. And it is easily stored. With that said, the narrow width could be a bit problematic. Rolling from supine to side lying I would have to recenter on the mattress. It was not a game changer for me but could be problematic for some. It is probably best used by children or smaller statured adults. It was quick to inflate/deflate. ... show more

  • Awesome as a bed topper for impossibly hard hotel beds!
Size: Tw"
I LOVE this mattress! I’m a bigger person (260lb) and I have fibromyalgia and other various joint and muscle issues. I am extremely particular about my sleeping area because a too hard bed means pain for days on end, even after only one night. While I can have a super fancy, soft as a cloud bed at home, it’s a lot harder when traveling. And my hubs and I travel A LOT (at least in non pandemic years). For a while I would haul a memory foam mattress topper around and carry it into hotels and such. This always made my hubs super self conscious because everyone could see that we were bringing our own bedding. And it didn’t work for trips we flew for instead of driving. So a few years later we switched to regular twin size air mattresses. I’d air them up with a battery pump and then place them on top of the regular hotel bed. It made the bed tall but was comfy and 2 twins is the right size for a king mattress. This worked better than the foam. I could still have a soft comfy sleep and the mattresses fit inside a carry on size suitcase or duffel bag which meant less embarrassing check in experiences for hubs. Well, on one trip we ended up on a queen size bed instead of a king and the 2 twins wouldn’t fit. Additionally even using just the one twin for me left hubs with only a sliver of the queen bed. The room we were in was also too small to use my mattress on the floor. That’s when I started looking for something smaller. I tried camping mats and they weren’t soft enough but then I found this slim twin. This mattress is less wide and less high, which means it takes much less time to air up! And hubs and I can both fit comfortably on a queen size bed! Especially since hubs decided he didn’t want a mattress for him anyway because hard beds don’t bother him. Woot! And it’s smaller and lighter to pack which means I can pack my bed in my carry on and still have space for lots more! (See picture for this mattress packed in an American Tourister Underseater with the Coleman battery pump and 4 small ebags packing cubes!) I originally bought this mattress in April 2018. It failed in January 2021 by the popping of the button columns others have mentioned. I used this mattress for week long stays around 10 - 12 times before it failed. And when it failed I immediately ordered another one. This is my Goldilocks! With this little mattress I can get a comfortable sleep ANYWHERE! ... show more

  • Great for kids
Size: Youth
Easy to inflate, durable, great for visiting grandkids. Nice carry / storage bag included. Hard to find cover & sheets in this size, ended-up using twin - a bit big but it worked okay. Great value for U12 year-old kids
