Wanted white chairs, settled on these white washed ones, opened the first box and it’s basically pink. I ordered white wash but didn’t know it would come without the “white” part to it 😂

I haven't ever purchased furniture items on Amazon, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Well I can put my mind to rest because these lovely stools are actual, real, solid furniture! They are heavy and solid and go together with beefy hardware that is included. They come with two cheap little tool items (screwdriver and wrench), but I used my own power tools for assembly and it was easy peasy. You just need a cordless drill with a Phillips bit and a 15/32 inch socket driver. Looking back, I wish that I had also used Carpenter's glue in the joints as I worked on the assembly. The legs and crossbars have solid wooden joinery, but they are secured only by a single, angled wood screw each. Those joints would have loved some glue as well. Oh well. The stools look like chairs, but they are definitely stools, as they seat about 8 inches higher than a regular chair. Also, one important point. I got the "White" stools and they are definitely NOT WHITE. They come across as a distinctly medium GRAY. I'm not picky, so I don't really care, but you might. The seats are very solid while still being cushy. I really hope they stay this way! I've had other chairs that immediately sank down into the frame like you were sitting in a hole. These are perfectly solid such that that will never happen. Overall I am very pleased with these stools and will keep an eye out for more items from this maker. ... show more
