Real cast iron and will get the job done. Not the highest quality camp pie makers out there, the screw-in handles don’t go all the way in and needed to be tightened when I received them. Pans themselves aren’t quite as big as others I’ve seen but will still make a decent portion size. Overall a good deal if you’re not looking to spend a lot ... show more

The latch on the handle isn't tight enough to hold the iron closed. The iron itself doesn't seem as robust as the 30+ year old version we've had forever. It works, but needs more clean up and attention.

This pan is fun for all ages to make snacks or dinner. We’ve made calzones, wonton s’mores, and personal pies. Easy to use & clean up. Not to heavy for 10 year old kids to use & hold with adult supervision but kids enjoy making their own fruit pies.
