I usually buy the liquid bottles that are good for 2 cleanings or use vinegar. This is about $20, used once a month, and 24 tabs so good for 2 years. My house didn't smell like vinegar and take 4 water rinses to remove or smell like citric acid and 2 or 3 rinses to remove. Put tab in the water reservoir, 2 cycles on largest cup setting, dump water, refill reservoir, 2 cycles on largest cup setting, and dump. This is a very easy way to clean your coffee maker. I own a Keurig and really hated to clean it. These tablets are easy to use and work great. I feel that they are worth the price.

Cleaning the coffee maker is a pain. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try on my Cuisinart. Works great! Took the bitterness out of the coffee because all the sediment was removed. I've got this on my calendar to do monthly.

    • BEATS the Keurig Descaler Solution Hands Down
After seeing that I had just one bottle of the Keurig brand descaling solution left a few months ago, I thought I would give these tablets a try, and ordered them. I used them the first time just yesterday. I was absolutely AMAZED at how well these tabs work. Holy moly! These dissolve about as quickly as an Alka Seltzer, and there is NO smell, no scent, nothing. I own two pod coffeemakers - one for home, and one for work. I was able to clean BOTH of them, in record time. Just one tablet for each, and that pesky "DESCALE" light was out on both. And these are a GREAT value too. Previously, using the Keurig descaling solution, it would take TWO bottles (and two full descaling cycles) to get the coffeemaker clean. I could NOT be happier with the results from the ACTIVE tablets. I will recommend these to all my fellow coffee lovers! ... show more

I knew I needed to clean my coffee machine, but it was a lot of work, so I didn't do it very often. These tablets are easy to use, and did a great job. The coffee did taste better after using these. I also love that it is a small, family owned company.

I used it on coffee maker. After using cleaner my coffee maker stopped working. And I spilled a little on counter and it ran down the front of cabinet door and made a permanent streak on door. It ate the finish on door. So me careful when using
