  • Gets the job done
Not bad at all

  • Good spray and WDT - stay for the dosing cup
As with most other reviewers, the star of the show here is the ceramic dosing cup. Let me get the WDT and spray parts out of the way - they're fine. The sprayer is simple to use and does it's job. The WDT is similar if you don't already have one. I wouldn't say it's my favorite WDT as the needles are a little short and thicker than some others you can compare it with, but realistically it probably does the job equally well. The real interesting value here is the ceramic dosing cup. If you watch any coffee YouTubers or demonstration, you will see many of them using a similar dosing cup before spraying with water. This isn't necessarily "better" in terms of coffee quality, but it's much easier than using a regular cup or mug. The beans are more easily covered by the spray and you can place your hand over the cup and do a few quick shakes and you're ready to go. By all those merits, this does the job. I have two small complaints that have led me to give it four stars instead of five. Firstly, it's quite small. It fits my regular 18g dose fine, but if you were trying to make some larger dose for non-espresso you'd run out of room quickly. Secondly, and more importantly, I think there's a bit of a design flaw or oversight with the shaping of the cup. I've seen this with other budget dosing cups. There's a "lip" towards the spouted end of the dosing cup, so when you go to tip the beans out into your grinder, it's still not as easy as you'd like. A few beans will get caught on the lip and you'll have to use your finger to kind of pop them out. More often than not, this leads to a bean or two escaping if you're trying to pour into a small grinder (like a hand grinder) and now you're back to a workflow problem. I'd like to see these entry-level dosing cups get rid of that lip on the spout to match the high-end ones. ... show more

  • Great Price
I've wanted all of these little tools for a while, and this was a great price for the set! It definitely improved my espresso game.

  • Clean design, good sprayer and nice rake
At about $12 (time of writing) for this set, zero complaints. The sprayer works well, and coffee beans slide well off the ceramic "cup" into the grinder. Not perfect all the time, but the price/value is solid, especially for those on a budget. 5 stars.

  • Cool set
I like the white glass bean holder but the sprayer is cheap and tiny. The wdt tool is also tiny it’s going to make alot more work to get the job done only thing that was worth buying is the white glass bowl

  • A mixed bag
Doser works great, needle tool is ok but a little too small (but we'll enough that I didn't replace it), spray bottle didn't work at all

  • A good little starter kit
I like this little kit because Starting an espresso journey is more annoying than I thought. All the little pieces and parts to really set the tone of a new hobby is always irritating. However this covers three big ones. The dosing bowl is nice, and the spray bottle is cheap But it's nice that I don't have to go out and buy a separate one and the wdt tool Is indeed a little close together but that's an easy fix by removing one or two needles.. I like it! I like that everything is altogether for a pretty decent price. A Decent start to an expensive journey ... show more

  • Nice set of espresso tools, but the WDT Tool's Needle spacing is too close.
After watching lots of videos from a certain YouTuber, the white ceramic dosing tray has been on my to-get list. It's just a lot easier to spray a mist of water across a wider surface like the dosing cup included in this set than into a traditional tall cup. The wide ceramic dosing cup/ funnel gets a 5-star. Next, the little spray bottle. This bottle is really neat in that the spray tucks away when you twist the bottle. The bottle is a nice size and is easy to hold, but the volume of water it holds inside is much smaller since the black portion is essentially just a sleeve. The spray bottle is also plastic, I was hoping it was metal which would have been a nice touch. But again for the price, not much to complain and it does spray a fine mist. 4-Stars. And now disappointing, the only piece of equipment I would say not to use at all, is the WDT Tool. It's in a very beautiful walnut and brass finish and hides the needles away nicely. But unfortunately, the needles are spaced far too tightly, making any WDT work pretty much impossible. You end up pushing the espresso grounds instead of distributing them, which counteracts what you're trying to do with this tool. This WDT tool needs much wider spacing or shoot out in a cone shape like traditional WDT Tools. This one gets a 1-star. Overall for the price of everything shipped, there's not too much to complain about. If there's a bundle to purchase without the WDT or if it's cheaper to purchase the other two separately I would say to do that. Or maybe use the WDT tool for some other application other than espresso. ... show more
