But, little 2.5 year old granddaughters tend to make you want to do anything they get excited about! I was somewhat surprised that it was comfortable, didn't make me feel more self conscious than I already did, and is just the right length. I left off 1 star because while the fabric is nice, it's just a tad bit heavy and doesn't towel off easily or dry as quickly. I would love this even more if the fabric was thinner and lighter. This suit is beautiful and well made. It was a little snug so I ordered another one a size up and it fits perfectly. The material is soft and silky like. The built in shorts aren’t tight on my legs and they stay put. The skirt length covers the top of my thighs but isn’t so long that it feels or looks like a dress. The crisscrossed bust is flattering without being too revealing. It also is high enough under the arms to hold in underarm flab without being too high and cutting. The size charts are misleading. I had to return twice due to incorrect sizes. I followed the height/weight chart but I found the measurement chart to be more accurate. Definitely need to size up. PROS: 1. Very figure flattering, especially for hiding big bellies & behinds. 2. Great for providing push up for smaller chested women without having any underwire, which is very difficult to find. 3. Very comfortable CONS: 1. Lining underneath is very odd. I agree with other reviews that the lining underneath is white mesh and does not provide full coverage. SOLUTION: I wear swim shorts underneath. This bathing suit is cute and retro, and pretty flattering, but I am not so hot on the extra shiny quality of the material. It seems even shinier than a typical bathing suit. Maybe that will fade with more washing, but the black polka dot style is very shiny. I also wish the print was all over the suit. When the skirt rides up, there is white underneath. The fit was great. I picked the Medium, and Im 5 feet tall, 136-lbs, with a 38-inch bust, 31-inch waist, and 41-inch hips. The color is more of an orange-pink, like a coral. I wanted a bright, neon pink, so I was kind of disappointed with the color. Its still bright enough, I guess, to be seen in the water. Absolutely my top pick on favorite bathing suits that I’ve ever owned. The quality and comfort of the fabric, required a customer review. It covers everything a mother of five wants covered, accentuating my husband’s favorite features;) I can’t wait to show it off to my husband. The straps are perfectly arranged to leave no pull or discomfort in the bra area. The dress covers the muffin top and the bottoms are shaped like boy shorts. Thank you to the person that recommended sizing up from 3x to 5x, these definitely run small, I ordered the 3x and was going to reorder a 4x but saw the review and went for 5x, it's PERFECT. Definitely go up! I'm super picky with fabric and texture and seams and this is so so so soft. I absolutely love the quality and I hesitate to buy clothes more than like $10-20 but this was WELL worth the price! My only complaint is that the seam for the shorts is a bit low and it feels a little like my pants are coming down but other than that it's so flattering and pretty and comfy!
