    • Could be cheaper and give more white.
This does what it says it does and it's pretty cool and I learned a lot. I guess my project was large compared to a lot of examples I'm seeing. I learned that the color fibers included are called "flocking powder" which is what is used for grass in realistic miniature scenes or the super thin velvet added to a cheap jewelry box. Or the glued on "velvet" on hard mini bear. Anyhow, it's basically powdered velvet which is pretty cool! The tube included is just fabric glue which is Ina small soft metal tube with an easy to spread applicator. All and all it's a really cool idea to apply it this way and it includes everything you would need for several smaller projects. The customer service tries to be there for you, lotsof video instructions and the paper instructions in the bag that is in the box. However, flocking powder is very cheap and fabric glue isn't expensive. And most colors can be remade except white. If I were them I'm include at least a larger container of white. It does what it says it does, however after looking into it, it probably cost them less then $0.30 to make. Idk I know "what do you except, that's how they profit" I just feel a little taken advantage of for not knowing but I suppose everyone does at one time or another! Edit: I've decided that based on the company values, the price is beyond reasonable to have the accessibility to connect to that knowledge, support and a small little all inclusive sample kit with how to apply it. It's actually a great way to keep larger items out of landfils for someone who wouldn't otherwise gain the knowledge of how to apply materials I never thought about. ... show more

This product arrived as it was described by seller. Fairly straight forward process of using the product. Just have to take your time trying to blend the colors to get close to what you need. Nothing would be perfect but this does a pretty good job of repairing an eye sore in the carpet so it's not noticeable. ... show more

I received my Coconix Professional Fabric & Carpet Repair Kit today. It includes everything you need to completely repair damaged fabrics. There are 9 colors that you can mix into any shade. Once you mix the color needed just apply some of the adhesive and let dry. It looks like I can get very creative with this set and it looks like fun. I will be looking for things to repair. Another nice thing is they offer step by step personal advice which I will take advantage of. This company seems like a company that cares unlike all the big corporations who treat people like they don't matter. Hooray for the small people.     • The glue kind of dyed the cloth…
I wanted this to work a lot. The color matching wasn’t too bad, but I have an art background so this would be a lot harder for someone who hasn’t done color matching/mixing. What made this 3 stars was the fabric glue seemed to have darkened the fabric/dried dark. That was really not what I wanted :( it’s a good concept that requires some color match skill, but I just don’t know what happened with my glue… ... show more

I had a few small patches of burned carpet in my car and this product worked great to blend in the spots, it's almost unnoticeable now (I only see it because I know exactly where the spots are). I did end up running out of the black fibers, but I contacted the seller to see if I could buy just some more black fibers and they agreed to send me a whole new kit for free!!! You are given ample materials to make many repairs. The colors provided allow you to match almost any color. Easy to follow instructions. I am very pleased with the color and texture of the repair on my light grey truck seat. Take your time and follow the instructions and you will be successful.

I did not like this product and I feel like the product information is misleading. I could never get the fibers to adhere to the glue. Just wasted my money.
