Then incubator is very user friendly and pretty much dummy proof with its sensors in place to automatically adjust air temp and humidity.     • Quit working after 15 days
One star because I couldn’t give it a lower rating. Humidity would not stabilize we tried using a bottle and adding ourselves. It would go up to 45 percent then drop to 20 in 30 minutes. After being plugged in for 15 days it completely stopped working. We bought several different incubators in December to have them ready for hatching and reviews for our YouTube channel so by the time we got started using it the 30 return policy was past. Second worst out of ten we are currently testing with a zero percent hatch rate ... show more

The package came without the adapter, so I could not add a water bottle. The humidity was difficult to maintain, and the buttons were confusing, but hatching was successful.

    • I solved humidity issue!
At first my humidity kept dropping like other reviews said. Then I added a bottle like shown in the picture, and no more issues. If you don't have a bottle you can plug up some vent holes and that will help some, but without the bottle I was needing to open and spray inside once a day. With the bottle, no issues.     • Temperature control
I ordered one of these incubators and when it came the cord was defective. It was an DC/AC voltage cord and whenever i plugged it in to an outlet it would flip a breaker. I quickly received a replacement- customer service was great. But, even the replacement incubator has issues. It does not matter what I set the temperature or humidity at. There are 5 different egg settings with one being a custom setting. I have my custom setting on 37.3 C and 45 humidity. No matter how many times I change it, or what parameters I set the alarms to. This incubator is constantly at 38.1 C and 50 humidity. I cannot get it to be where it is supposed to be. Also- I thought the water bottle feature would be great for humidity control. It does not come with a bottle and it does not fit a standard water bottle size. I have yet to find what fits to use It. overall I would pick a different one if I could. ... show more

Was our first time hatching chicken eggs. Had EVERYTHING we needed, even a battery back up option, starter feeder and waterer, mister bottle- very well thought out package and explicit instructions in a handy little guide book I plan to keep for our next run. Was extremely easy to use. As others have said, cover up a couple vents if you need to adjust humidity- we only did that on days 14-19. Once the eggs started hatching the humidity stayed high, so vent tapeovers were not needed at that point. We never used the bottle, just added water to the outlet every day.     • Has many issues
Does not maintain humidity (the water feed does not). The LCD display lights up when the candle light is on (ineffective), lousy directions to change settings, readings don't match independent measurement, days reset if power is interrupted, screws rusted on turning mechanism with the first use and once the chick's hatch there is a connecting cable that they can (and did) get hung up on. Only kept it as long as I did because there were eggs in it and I had to manipulate the humidity and remove the chick's early due to the cable.
