I bought this product to try it out seeing that at the time it had very few reviews. Was very surprised at how well it worked. With the water feeder, I did not have to keep watching it every day. I did cover the two vent holes with a piece of tape to keep the humidity where it needed to be, but other than that worked perfectly. It took some adjusting to read the temp in Celcius, but the chart in the back of the manual was very helpful. I would buy this product again without a doubt. ... show more

    • I got a 100% hatch with this That's never happened for me.
I didn't like the way the lock down humidity worked but I do love the water bottle on the outside.

The media could not be loaded. The Cobito Egg Incubator has been an incredible gift for my two daughters who were eager to hatch their baby chickens. This has advanced features, like automatic egg turning, humidity control, and the built-in Egg Candler, that have made the entire incubation process both effortless and educational for them. I love how much they have learned throughout this process. This egg incubator can support 12-24 eggs of various poultry species, it's been an awesome addition to our home. I've been impressed by the precise control panel, which allows us to monitor and adjust temperature and humidity levels easily. This has created the ideal incubation environment, resulting in a higher hatching rate. This hands-on process has taught them so much and we were able to get all 8 chicks here into this world safely with this my daughter was super happy with how amazing this helped them along the process!! ... show more

I should have stayed with the one I had before, kebonix, I believe. Not sure what it is about this one, but nothing hatched! I was very disappointed in losing my quail babies. I’ve never had eggs implode until this Hatcher. If I could give it back, I would!

    • Great For Hatching Small Batches of Eggs
This isn't my first incubator, but I was looking for something a little larger that would be able to hold my goose eggs and rotate them so that I didn't have to hand turn them as I had been doing with my other incubators. It is just able to fit my goose eggs, so I know it would fit my ducks, chicken, and quail eggs just fine. Overall, I like the design. With the clear dome, it allows me to see how the eggs are doing a lot easier than my other incubators. The display is clear and accurate. It's able to measure the temperature and humidity, which is extremely important when hatching eggs. The egg turner on this incubator is built into the floor which is definitely a change from the ones I'm used to, but it works just as well. I was able to successfully hatch my goose eggs with this. I'll be trying it out with a batch of duck eggs next, but overall, I'm really happy with it. ... show more

Overall great design. Lots of room for eggs, high visibility with large clear dome, display has everything you need from a timer, egg candler, humidity and temperature. Unlike many incubators, did not come with or advise use of additional insulation (foam, etc) but seems to maintain a steady temperature without it. The egg turner is part of the floor -- interesting concept but it works and the gears/controls/electrical bits are all out of the way. Egg turning appears more vigorous towards the center and milder around the edges, but still gentle, and the slight indentations help keep the eggs in place. Easily add water to increase humidity to desired range. I prefer to read my temperatures in Fahrenheit and this displays it in Celsius. I couldn't figure out a way to change it. I am incubating over 30 coturnix quail eggs in my incubator right now, so a good amount of real estate for a small scale incubator. ... show more

    • A great small incubator
We have a poultry operation so our kids teachers always ask us for eggs when it comes to the chicken hatching experiment. They generally have some old incubator that barely works and we normally have to replace the eggs with ones that we incubated a few days before hatch because of some problem. We really wanted the kids to be able to see the changes through the incubation period so we got a number of these inexpensive incubators and have been testing them for when the schools call. I really like this one. It has auto turn and auto humidity, which means less for the teacher to do. We put temp probes in it for a week and saw that it held temp incredibly well. The clear plex lid is super nice because the kiddos can see the eggs start pipping and the entire hatching process. All around it's a 5 star product. ... show more

Nice capacity- up to 24 quail eggs with self turning base. LED display is BIG and easy to understand. Egg candling light is a nice bonus. Built in humidity control is a blessing as well. Overall impressed with this setup.
