Amazon deleted previous review since I recommended another company… I’ll try again: This was just OK, didn’t keep ice more than a few days in cool and only slightly warm spring weather. It has the basic design that you would expect in a Roto miled cooler, but if you spend just a little bit more with a company like Canyon coolers, made in USA, lifetime warranty. These are great for camping or road trips. I haven’t found any cooler that lasts a full week, but these come close. I put a layer of cardboard in the bottom, add some dry ice and cover it with a layer of ice. I then put another layer of cardboard on top. Then I put my cold items in and they stay cold, without getting wet. Just be careful not to open it much and keep it out of the Sun. It seems to work as well as Yeti and other name brands. If you're smart about coolers, and pre chill the cooler, and pre chill the food, it will last a long time. I pre chilled everything and used a 60/40 mix of 60% block ice and it lasted through my 6 day trip easy. I also kept a mylar blanket over it when the sun was on it.

It didn't hold ice in 70 degree weather as long as advertised but it is a good sturdy cooler. Ice retention was about 2 days, not 5-7 as advertised. FYI I accessed the cooler only 2-3 times a day on average and was mindful about keeping it closed up as much as possible.

As with any cooler - the best results come from pre cooling everything before placing into ice chest. My last trip out, i did not have enough time to do so - 125qt cooler loaded with drinks and food in coastal alabama heat of ~90•. Ice lasted 7 days and then i dumped it and still had a pretty impressive slush that would have tickled any penguins belly! Excellent cooler. Recommend to anyone.
