This is a good bit as long as you use common sense. It you are using it on hard wood (oak, Ash, walnut, etc) use light pressure and do not force the router through the material. I recommend it!!!

This is working better than I expected to flatten edge grain cutting boards before sanding. I'm using a small handheld router and it works great. I have flattened about 8 small/medium cutting boards and it's still plenty sharp.

I have surfaced 4 mdf spoil boards with same bit. Last one was as good as first. I only take off about .04" with a 40% step-over per pass. This bit does the job with excellent results.
