Was so satisfied with my purchase inwent ahead and got another machine but this time a laser one. This kit came within a week (Amazon estimated ~30-45 days) and was well packaged. The larger rods and lead screw appear perfectly straight as far as I can tell with no scratches or dings. The extrusions looked fine, with some cosmetic handling marks on one of the flats. The spoilboard and second extrusion plate were very nicely cut (the plate came with protective film). All the hardware comes in labeled bags. Did not come with printed instructions. You need to be very careful screwing everything back together, as it's really easy to make it out of square. You can also choose where to mount the linear bearings on the plate to adjust between more travel or stability on your Y axis. ... show more

You need to hook to a laptop And I would not buy it again no customer support. I had to buy better software $$$ to make it run. If my son wasn't an electrical engineer it would be a big dollar paper weight. that I updated software and repaired a cable. Its instruction are pictures you need to use Utube and net. I have two 3018 CNC's from Annoy Tools (picture attached). You will notice the bearing rods and rails on Annoy Tools CNC products are much thicker than other similar products. This means less deflection, more accurate work, and less passes to get a specific depth. You can mount a makita trim router and use it without issue. Annoy Tools sells the makita adapter as well. I am a hobbyist, engineer and machinist in Los Angeles. My experience with this company has been five stars all the way. Hope it helps!
