It was a lace back, and I ordered a size up and it fit perfect. The top did fit a little weird in the chest, it was kinda big, which is unusual because I wear a 38D. I wore 4 inch heals and it was very long in the front.

This is a very pretty dress. Made well; not see through, and very classy. I am 5’5”, so every dress I tried was too long. This one as well. Not sure how they would have shortened it as the lace on the bottom of the dress is very pretty, and I would not have wanted it removed.

This dress is beautiful and looks just like the picture. I am 245 pounds and have chubby arms. With the sleeves being lace there is no stretch and makes me feel like I cannot lift my arms all of the way up. The cup area is gigantic. I will have to take it somewhere to get it fixed. It does smell bad when you first open the package but it will air out within a day or two. This dress is pretty but measurements are odd. Fits my arms and stomach, does not fit the girls. This dress looked just like the photo. It is well made, and looked beautiful. I needed to return it because it pinched under the arm, so I needed a bigger size. I followed the size chart so the dress should fit. It states free returns, but will not give me the proper return slip to ship it back. I do have 6.5 months until my wedding so I have time to find another dress. I will keep trying to get the free return. ... show more

It came in a couple sizes too large. It looks very beautiful in the pictures, however didn’t exactly come off as great when I tried it on. Sleeves were very baggy. Not for me!

I sent my measurements to the seller as I was ordering the dress. When they sent it the dress doesn't come down over my hips it's too tight. The back of the dress the illusion back doesn't come all the way down to the small of the back like the picture shows. It stops mid back. So, I'll have to take the dress to get altered by a professional. The dress does look similar to the photo but even with the dress on a hanger the front lining is higher than the back. So it's not the full mermaid look. I don't know why the seam wasn't sewn evenly? I'm a little disappointed. It's a good thing I have a small window of time to take it to a seamstress to get it fixed. I won't buy from this seller again. I wear a size 16 . I even sent the measurements with the hip area too big so it will be larger on me but it's 2 inches too tight. ... show more

To be completely honest, I pushed off getting the wedding dress up until I had no time left for options. I also was getting married on a budget so this dress worked out well in that aspect. I needed something to flatter my curvy body and this dress does do that. The sleeves and lace detail are beautiful.. but it didn’t fit as expected. The shoulders/chest were absolutely huge. They were gaping off my body and you could basically see my boobs from any angle. I am pretty proportional all around and this was just ungodly when I tried it on the first time. I promptly took it to an alter and she said it would cost much more than I paid for the dress itself. I brought it to my mom and she rigged it to fit me ok enough for a few hours. It wasn’t perfect but nobody really noticed. The lace up in the back does allow for some size adjustment on the waist/hips. Overall, it didn’t have the fit I hoped for, despite measuring myself and ordering accordingly. If I were to purchase this again, I would size down a few. It is a good dress for the price and if you need something in a pinch. Oh! Beware of the awful smell of this dress if you do get it!! 😬 ... show more
