    • Excellent for sudden and intense pain
I ordered this a few months ago and this past weekend while going through my dental drawers, I decided I needed to try it. For the past week, I have experienced a sudden and intense pain in my right cheek and jaw that went up behind my eye, sometimes into my head, and then to my ear. This all started on a Friday afternoon. Good luck trying to get an appt. In any event, I used some warm salt water and it helped a lot, but only lasted a few minutes. I used CloSys rinse and it helped so much with the pain I was having, when I found this paste in my drawer, I used it with the same excellent results. Not sure why I was having pain, maybe an infection? I water flossed the under the gum with the soft rubber tipped flossing attachment and that felt great, used this paste and then their rinse. The grand finally was to make a charcoal paste with a few drops of their mouth rinse and lay it on heavy around the entire area using my soft mouth guard and left it. I slept great and woke up to no pain. Several hours later, still pain free. This does not have much of a flavor so if you hate strong minty like I do, this will work well for you. Apparently the chlorine dioxide helps with bacteria, oral pain, and reducing plaque as well. This will be used regularly now! It saved me this past week and the relief was immediate. ... show more

    • Helps reduce canker sores a lot for me.
I'm cursed with near constant canker sores. Usually very big and very painful. I researched and researched and found out that trying toothpaste with no sls can sometimes help. I figure what's the harm in trying, can't be any worse then the other toothpaste I used (which would cause me to get canker sores every time after brushing my teeth, so not joking about near constant.. I still get canker sores, but they are further apart, and not as severe, so I consider this toothpaste a win in my book. Will not being going back to non sls free toothpaste. This toothpaste does a good job of making my mouth feel clean, And i like that the minty-ness isn't as severe as other toothpastes, you know the kind where it feels like your mouth is on fire, maybe it's just me, It worked for me to help reduce my canker sores, drastically. now I sometimes get them on my tongue mostly and i believe that's cause I have a tendency to bit my tongue on accident. But when I do get them this toothpaste helps them go away quicker, what use to be a week or more of excruciating canker sores now only lasts about 2 or 3 days. Give it a shot. the worse is it doesn't work for you as well as it did for me, and you're a bit of money and back at square one..... really wish doctors would figure out the cause of canker sores already..... Thinking of switching to SLS free shampoo now too, as I'm wondering is all these annoying things are just an allergic reaction to it. oh well. If you try it I hope it works. (I went for the fluoride free one this time, the previous one i used was the sensitive with fluoride one ) Good luck on your journey to to help reduce canker sores, or dry mouth, or whatever ailment you suffer from that no doctor takes seriously and blames on depression. :) ... show more

    • The only toothpaste I can use
I have susceptible teeth and gums and have struggled for years to find suitable toothpaste and mouthwash. Last year, my dentist recommended the Closys bran mouthwash, which I have been loving. This past year, I continued to look for a toothpaste that was not overly strong, and that cleaned my teeth without burning my mouth. I have tried kinds of toothpaste of similar formulas, but nothing has been as pain-free as Closys. I am so glad I found a brand of dental care that offers products for very sensitive mouths! My only complaint is the high price tag. It is cheaper on Amazon than my local dentist office, but still, it is a lot of money compared to the $1 toothpaste my husband gets from the drug store! :) ... show more

My first mint toothpaste that wasn't overwhelmingly minty. I like it. And I like omitting fluoride, which turns people into zombies 💀 Recommend brushing before going to bed, so the gums have a chance to recover overnight from the process before dealing with more food. And floss every other night. On floss-nights, floss before brushing, followed by brushing gently. Because, after flossing, a gentle brushing is all that's necessary to get rid of the debris that the flossing dislodged. And then your gums will recover overnight. And when the dentist tells you to floss after every meal, just nod your head Yes. ... show more

My Husband & I, Have To Have Extensive Cleaning For Gingivitis Etc. So The Dental Hygienist, Recommended This Kind Of Toothpaste To Us. I’m Not Sure It Works Any Better, Than Any Other Sensitive Brand But We’re Still Using It. Not Sure If We Will Continue To Purchase It But We Might.
