Preface: I have short and straight downward growing eyelashes, so I demand a mascara with good lift first and foremost. This mascara delivers good lift and longevity throughout the day. This mascara tends towards the drier side, which helps keep lashes light and not clumpy. It makes your lashes stiff and straight, like strong hairspray. The wand is a fairly small "c" shaped bristle brush, which is better for small eyes and getting all the little eyelashes on the edge. It is also easy to do bottom lashes due to its compact brush head. The formula is waterproof, and will not budge until you remove it. Here's my detailed breakdown: Volume: 3/5, Delivers average volume, can layer 3 times before it becomes clumpy Length: 4/5, Lengthens and straightens lashes well, but not a fiber lash formula Lift: 5/5, Keeps a curl made by a lash curler perfectly, formula does not weight down lashes Definition: 4/5 Will somewhat group lashes together to form thicker looking lashes, but moderately. Definition of individual lashes are still prevalent. Longevity: 5/5, You will wake up with this the next morning still looking intact. In fact, regular makeup remover hardly does the job to remove it. Feel free to swim or cry. Smudge/flake-proofness: No smudging or flaking after it is set. I struggle with mascaras because my lashes are super stubborn, super straight. I have to curl my lashes for so long so they can at least stay. Most mascaras just make them fall in a second, but this mascara is lightweight, lengthens my lashes, while holding a curl beautifully!! I will be purchasing more! ... show more

I'll preface this review by saying my goal with makeup is looking like I'm not wearing any (or very little), so when it comes to mascara I do not want something that's ultra dramatic or makes me look like I have on false lashes. I'm not saying this mascara wouldn't work for you if that's your jam, I'm just saying I can't attest to that so this review may be more useful for my no makeup-makeup girlies. This product does an amazing job holding a curl and I get a lot of length from one coat and it never clumps my eyelashes together, which is everything I've ever wanted in a mascara. Plus once it's on there it's like seriously on there, I never have flakes or smudging even if I accidentally rub my eye without thinking. Honestly, I fell asleep in this once and woke up and didn't even have smudges under my eyes. That said, it is harder to get off with just a cleanser and water. I use baby oil to break it down first because I am not going to buy a product simply to remove mascara, and that works just fine, so it's definitely not some arduous chore to remove. Honestly, for the price I don't think you stand to lose anything by trying it out and you may just find a holy grail product like I did. ... show more

I got this to layer under a lengthening mascara, and it works great. It holds curls better than any other mascara I’ve tried! Doesn’t lengthen or thicken much, so I’d probably never wear it alone. Eyelash type: short, straight Asian eyelash Pros 1. Holds curl! Western brand mascara usually doesn't hold the curl at all for me. 2. Gives clean, sleek look. 3. Smudge proof. Waterproof. 4. Great curved wand that fits eye shape. Use concave side to put on the product and comb it with convex side for more even distribution and volume. Cons 1. dry formula. This is what helps with holding the curl but it means that the mascara dries out quicker AND 2. It FLAKES! 3. Difficult to remove even with eye makeup remover. i have never written an amazon review before lol but i had to write one for this mascara because... you guys... it's the best mascara i've ever used 😭 some info about my eyes + eyelashes : i have semi-thick monolids and downturnt + straight lashes. even when i use mascara that targets straight lashes, my lashes never hold up very well because of the extra weight from my monolids! i usually have to recurl them after already adding mascara (which is bad for your lashes!!) i have been using this mascara and can confidently say that i don't have to recurl my lashes and they stay curled until i remove them at the end of the day!!! this is HUGE for me ❤️🩹 i bought the long curling mascara which gives a more subtle and natural look! i'm interested in the volume curl one because it looks a bit heavier and dramatic (in a good way) so hopefully i can write a review on that soon! if you have any of the issues i had, i hope this review can be helpful in giving insight to how it might work for you! ... show more
