You can fill it a bit when you use it indoors, but when I placed it outside in a box for my stray cat, I could not feel any heat whatsoever. The weather is about 30°, and this product is ineffective for outdoor animals, in my opinion.

This foundation is fabulous--the deduction of one star is because it is very difficult to figure out the best color for yourself unless you try several, and sometimes local stores don't have every color in stock. Perhaps Clinique (or Amazon?) could offer a choice of, say, 3 samples of colors for one price? That way, one could decide the right match and then order a full size bottle. Just a thought.... I’ve been using this brand for years in buttermilk .. they matched up my skin tone at Clinque .. perfect match … it has been the only brand that has come so close or right on to my skin tone .. love it … side note when getting low there is a stopper at the top of bottle take that out and there is a lot more foundation .
