I had super high hopes for this considering its clinique brand. It came properly sealed, brand new and packaged well. Im 42 yrs old and have a problem with breakouts, bad sometimes and I can barely wear makeup because everything seems to break me out. I did read thru the reviews before purchasing. Its a large bar.. I also purchased the same in the liquid form as well. The 1st couple of uses It seemed like it was helping and drying up my breakouts but then I started get more and more as I used it so I stopped. Although it did make my face feel very clean, It made my face look greasy looking after a few hours of washing with it too. It having salicylic acid in it is what helps fry out breakouts but if u have super sensitive skin I don't recommend this unless you have had good results with salicylic acid in face washes. I do recommend bare minerals pure plush deep face wash I think its called, it's what I purchased after this and all my breakouts have almost completely healed without any new ones popping up. ... show more

This is the only thing that helps remove make up and clear acne for me! OK I cannot say that this is something that I enjoy traveling with but I do travel with this face soap because my skin tends to break out when I am not at home and so I need to bring this with me it’s like an essential product to get all the grime and make up and sweat and everything else off of my face… With that being said I really wish they would work on the packaging because if you use it in the shower and then want to put it in your suitcase you’ve got a real problem on your hands as far as excess water! But regardless of all that it is a good product and if you have eyelash extensions and you wash your face a lot even though this is medicated with a silk acid it does not take off your eyelash extensions so I know that’s a random thing to be excited about but it’s pretty good to know right? ... show more

This bar worked wonders on my face and back to diminish cyctic and hormonal acne. I still get small pimples here and there, especially where my clothes rub but it's much more manageable now and my skin looks much better. Yes, this cleansing bar is a winner! I not only use it on my face but in the shower as a complete body wash. I am prone to actinic keratosis due to sun damage and I find this soap really helps my skin feel smoother without being drying. I didn't get it for the acne relief as I am 70.
