This thing is wonderful. Slips on your foot and has a sliding stopper to keep the loop from loosening and slipping off your foot. Very easy to use and even held my 6'2" 240lb frame up with no problems. Very pleased with this buy

It's okay for your lowest climbing stick (closest to base of tree). I definitely wouldn't use these extensions for higher sticks along the tree. I think that'd be unsafe.

Purchased to attach to second climbing stick as 1st stick has a 3 step aider. I'm not sure about longevity as they are just braided nylon but will add some type of padding for them to rest on vs the metal portion of stick step. Strap stays open and attached to stick easily.
