Purchased the Rovic RV1S, used it for a few rounds, in the end I returned it and went with the ClicGear 3.5 instead. Just a few comments on my decision making. Quality: The Rovic is made by ClicGear, both carts are built to last. No problem here with either unit. That Front Swivel Wheel. Loved it and hated it..... On smooth surfaces like the cart path, parking lot, or fairways, the swivel wheel on the Rovic was unbeatable, the cart turns on a dime. The cart handles so well you wonder why all carts don't have swivels. In the rough, or surfaces not quite so smooth (ie gravel parking lot), the swivel wheel now tends to follow the path of least resistance, leading to a little bit of frustration as you try and keep it aligned on your planned route. Not a major problem just lock the swivel, the design of this feature was flawless, just a quick flip of the lever up near your right hand and the front swivel locks into the straight ahead position. The problem with the Rovic front swivel wheel has to do with it being undersized. On most surfaces the wheel size is fine, but upon rolling through what I call "rutty" or very rough areas, the wheel tends to get stuck more easily, much more so than wheels the size of the rear wheels. Example: Rolled the cart across a small walking path bridge, at the bottom of the bridge ramp, where it connects back to the cart path, was a small gap where ramp ended and pavement started. The gap wasn't huge, not a big pothole that should have been fixed anyway, just a 6 or 8 inch gap. The front wheel didn't get stuck in it, but it certainly did stop the cart for a split second, just long enough for me and my momentum coming off the bridge to nearly do a header into my clubs. It was an awkward few moments. Balance: If you lock the front swivel, now your only method of turning is the same as other 3 wheel push carts, push down on the handle and lift the front wheel off the ground. The problem here with the Rovic RV1S is the bag position, more of the bag weight is sitting on the front wheel making it more difficult to lift. The Clicgear 3.5 is effortless to pick up the front wheel. Over the course of 18 holes, the advantage of swivel turns was negated by the extra work it took to make non-swivel turns. I'm a gadget kinda guy, but the novelty of swivel-on, swivel-off, repeat, grew old pretty quick. The other negative of locking that front swivel and having the extra weight on the front while turning is that when you do push down on the handle to lift the front end, the torque is transferred via the plastic hinges that connect the handle to the body of the cart. Over time I thought that this would be the weakest link, the most likely fail point. The other properties of the cart are of Clicgear quality. The unit folds and unfolds with little effort, great design. The provisions to mount the golf bag are perfect (as least for my stand bag), in fact my bag fit better on the Rovic than the Clicgear 3.5. In the end I decided to spend a few more dollars and go with the Clicgear 3.5 ... show more

Just got my RV!S for the swivel front wheel. It takes a couple time to get the fold and unfold down but shouldn't be an issue. It is heaver than expected but that's probably a good thing as it seems very sturdy for my cart bag. It glides across the carpet and could be pushed with a couple fingers. We will see how it performs in the rough but don't expect any problem. Two issues I wish were better without even using it. One, the storage compartment is all plastic. I would be nice to have a cushy bottom so things are "banging" around. This seems like a minimal thing but would be a nice touch for a few pennies. Second, the bag sits close to the storage area. I don't have any problem opening it as long as the shortest clubs (wedges) are next to it however, they are right next to it and bang against it. Time will tell if it is a problem, either noise or wearing on the finish. Finally, I have a Callaway cart bag and the straps for the card are to run through a small opening on the bag. Not easy to thread the think rubber cord on cart through it. Its a well build and sturdy cart but has a few things that I wish were a little better. ... show more

I just received the Clicgear Rovic Swivel RV1S Golf Push Cart, Arctic/White yesterday and used it for the first time today. I LOVE it. The until seems to be very well constructed and very light weight. I was debating about the need for a front wheel that swivels. Ask no more. This is an absolute must in my opinion. No need to lift the front tire when making turns. It also has a lock for the front tire that’s on the handle. I didn’t use it much but nice to have when you need it. This unit also has a footbrake. I will tell you I would have preferred a hand brake and almost opted not to buy this unit. It would have been a mistake. The footbrake is very easy to use and I’m very happy with it’s simplicity. I certainly would not make a hand brake a must have decision like I would the front swivel. It comes with both a bottle/cup holder and umbrella holder. Both are very convenient. After folding it a few times, you’ll get use to the process and will find it fairly easy to fold. The best part is how small the unit folds. It is incredibly small (24’ x 16), compact and light weight. The folded size and clicgear reputation were the initially the decision for the purchase. Not sorry at all. I was the guy that always got a golf cart till i decided I wanted to save money and the exercise. Came across a speed cart first and I did like it. But this cart was better. Price may be steep which would be a con but after testing it out I was satisfied with the purchase amount. The cart has a swivel front wheel!! Easily gets around the course and obstacles. Also you can lock it to go straight which is very nice to have at times. Cup holder fits sports bottles and holds in place very well. Umbrella holder fits standard golf umbrellas. Storage has 3 ball holders in. Will fit wallet and phone. So rangefinder and misc items will be ok. The best feature however is how EASY to fold and unfold this cart.and the size is so compact when folded, perfect for saving space in the trunk I have a midsize tour staff bag so bigger than most so I'm sure all bags can fit I love it You won't be dissatisfied and I rarely leave reviews but for my fellow golfers who walk I think it's important to ... show more
