I got this journal to accompany my journey on a 90 day alcohol recovery program and it works so well with quick daily reflections. It works great for me because the daily reflection section keeps time from 6am-9pm, so if you are a night owl it may not work for you but I keep the hours of 5am-8pm so it really worked great for my daily reflections. The paper is thick so I can use my favorite markers to write and there is no bleed through. I usually prefer spiral bound but the binding is such high quality I haven't had any problems with it so far. It's affordable and stylish. I got this for my boyfriend. He recently confided in me and told me about struggling with alcohol, and he was scared because when he tried to stop he got shaky and felt very sick, he did not realize he was drinking THAT much. He is really trying, but has no guidance and keeps his issues to himself. I wanted to be there for him but not force him to talk to me about any of it. He is not comfortable seeking counseling for depression and alcohol use at this point, and with this it's all up to him and he doesn't have to tell everyone he is struggling with addiction. I'm not the best advice giver, but I absolutely adore him, so when I saw this I was so excited. I mailed it to him in a new box with a note so I didn't have to make it weird and give it in person.
