Strikes well and the ball really checks up way more than my old wedge. Big grooves are great and the micro grooves in between the big grooves really grab the ball and it does not roll out much when it hits and releases. I have had to change my game a bit and fly the ball farther on to the green, and I’m very happy with it. I did change the grip to a midsize and it made it even better for me. ... show more

My aging and very worn out 60-degree wedge needed replacing and the RTX ZipCore wedge more than fulfilled the need. Since its arrival at my front door, I was initially reluctant to try it out on the golf course because the feel was completely different from my old 60-degree. I felt I should first give it a workout on the driving range but the opportunity never presented itself. When the situation presented itself, the club performed beautifully on the golf course and the results were improved distance control and accuracy. My only nit noy complaint is the small grip. I was looking for a replacement for my 56* sand wedge. I have a 58* and needed a bigger gap for yardage. I can hit this out of the sand as well as in the fairway. I think it will be a good fit. Love Cleveland wedges!!
