This is a pretty good and fast alternative to using a Swiffer duster or car cleaning wipes. This picked up the amount of dust that had collected the past year for me (I don't really drive, so not much dust). It's easy to use, grips well, you can see the dust collected on the gel. If you have a lot of dust, debris, crumbs galore, do not use this product first! This is not meant for cleaning really grimy cars. This is great for light layers, when you notice dust collecting. I agree with another reviewer saying it doesn't get into the vents very well, but if you have small enough fingers, it's easy to work the gel in between the slats. Also, do not store in the glove box. Think about it: your car is out in direct sunlight, facing the elements within your microclimate, so your car will heat up or cool down which will deteriorate the gel overtime even if stored in the glove box. This product did a great job of cleaning things I normally can't get to. It's very sticky for the first use but does lose some after the initial use. But overall great value for your money.

    • Immediate "always have" item, personally!
This stuff is a must have for me, it didn't take long to find this helpful and convenient to use. When I am finished driving for the day, routine is to take an extra 45 seconds and absorb all the dust, dirt, ashes, etc. from my dash and center console. I definitely ordered two more for on deck, and I feel, depending, that one of these gel slime will last a solid two months before it gets too grimy. Great case it stores in, which prolongs the use and just very convenient to store in car somewhere... preferably not in sunlight. As I mentioned, it is a slime type of gel, so with heavy use there is a extremely light residue left behind. But honestly it really is not an issue in even the least. Also if I very lightly absorb particles, the residue is pretty much non existent. I recommend highly for any surface tidying up you need, and hard to reach places.     • An Alright Dust Remover
I pruchased this to use in my vehicle to get into those hard to clean areas. I ended up using it in my dad's work truck to really put it to the test. He is working in a very dusty area with the red dirt....his truck was covered in the thick dust, so a perfect test of the product. He and I cleaned what we could with rags, but I wanted to try this stuff out on the creases and vents. It worked alright. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test: Pros: - Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and start dabbing it into the dusty areas. I found that tapping the dust to get the worst of it off before dragging it over a second time worked best. - Cleaning: This is good for loose dust. It worked really well at removing the dust in the vents and some of the corners you could not get a rag into. Cons: - Cleaning: This did not remove some of the stuck on dust that a rag would have removed. I also found that getting in tighter crevices did not work very well either. It also left a little greasy feel that may attract dust or that some people may not like on their dashes or inside their vehicles. - Cleaning the product: With as heavy of dust that was in my dad's truck, the gel got pretty dirty. I am not sure the best way to clean it, or if you can even clean it. Rags and towels are easy...just throw them into a washing machine. I'm guessing this is use until completely dirty and throw away. - Messy: This also leaves a greasy feel to your hands. With rags, you can usually minimize this, but this stuff gets all over your fingers, especially the finger you use to press it into vents. Overall, this is something that is a neat idea, but it really is not great. It worked okay at getting loose dirt and dust off of surfaces, but you could also get the same results from using something like tape or wrapping a small tool with some cloth and using cleaning agents. This might make a cheap, fun stocking stuffer if you want to get something that is different. Personally, I don't think I'll buy this again and just use rags. ... show more

This magic goop is so handy I really can’t even tell you how nice it is. If you’ve ever had those nooks and cranny’s you can’t reach no matter how hard you try, now you can. Picks up dirt dust and grime so well. It’s fairly easy to clean and 100% capable of reusing depending on hot well it’s still picking up. Once you notice it isn’t picking up anymore, toss it and get you another. While I use this as a car detailer, this would even be great for those that like to keep their cars tidy or parents with kids who know how to make a mess everywhere. Highly recommend! ... show more

Im surprised! So i got this color to match my car setup/decor. It’s tricky to open and its like a cold sticky goo, like jello, but all you need to do it splat it onto your car dashboard, steering wheel, brakeshift area, gear area, and glove compartment and it’s dust free instantly! Now i cant say for sure it’s gonna stay clean esp if you havent changed your air vent filters and whatnot, or if this thing gets loaded over time with gross s..tuff… but at least in the short term thus can get it fresh. Hope that helps! My car gets wild nasty for no logical reason so i thank the good lord for any wipes solution or substance that can spit spot the b___. Lol ... show more

I had my doubts, but this cleaning gel was incredible in cleaning my car. My husband likes to get crumbs in my car and this gel has saved me from getting irritated. It took all the deep crumbs out and left my car looking new again! I'm not sure if it says specifically how many uses it is recommended for, but I only use once. I highly recommend for your car especially if you have a messy husband/kid(s)! ... show more
