This was installed very easily but sound quality is not the greatest compared to stock antenna. Two weeks after install this item broke and the rubber toward the bottom of the antenna split and broke. I have purchased something similar and have no issues for three years with the other brand. This is exactly what I needed! It works GREAT and was very easy to install! Select the correct antenna mast connector. Apply Blue Loctite to both threaded sides of connector.....first, to the threads going into the antenna, tighten by hand.....secondly, to the threads going into antenna mast receiving threads. Then slowly tighten as much as possible by hand. Turn on your radio and enjoy! ... show more

Replaced a broken antenna on a 2013 Nissan Frontier.Quite easy to install after I drilled out the broken stud on the old antenna.This antenna actually picks up more stations then the stock one and I live about 35 miles between between two cities. Quality not great, signal is scratchy across the AM/FM spectrum, even strong stations that are close. Spend the money, get better quality. Looks nice, but that's about it. Would not buy again.
