  • The “Go Anywhere, Do Anything” (GADA) watch
Color: Black Dial
As a watch guy, I am impressed with this daily driver. I think of it as a daily stunt-double for my expensive, Tudor Pelagos dive watch (which costs over 10x more). I prefer the look, feel, and weight of titanium. The lightweight nature and relatively thin presence is ideal as a daily; I even sleep in this watch. The movement is accurate. The look of this watch is clean. The lume is bright. The watch can be dressed up or dressed down… from yardwork to the boardroom. Mine has yet to scratch, although I did add a film cover to the crystal. The Eco-Drive solar charging is incredible technology. 200m of water resistance is comparable (or better) than others, such as Seiko (which I also love). What else can I say. This Citizen Promaster diver in super titanium is a Go Anywhere Do Anything (GADA) watch. ... show more

  • Stellar Piece - Sophisticated Value
Color: Black Dial
Man, I love this watch so much. The matte Titanium is stunning. The lume is fantastic. The accuracy is unmatched imo especially being a solar watch (the best solar tech as well). Very very nice. I wish the hour features (including the hands) were a bit more interesting. They’re flat with no change in pitch and extremely angular. But tbh it helps with clarity in the dark and for this price point can’t really beat it. It scratches fairly easily, so be careful. Although it still looks good after being scratched, unlike stainless. The seconds movement is not 100% accurate to the etching but I doubt anyone cares since it’s so accurate. It’s a non issue for me. Easily the nicest watch I’ve ever owned. ... show more

  • Best Dive Watch Under $1K Hands Down.
Color: Black Dial
Best dive watch under a grand. Perfect for everyday wear and you don’t have to worry about it getting dinged up at this price point. I highly recommend buying a watch repair tool kit to take links out; I found a tool kit at walmart for $10 and I took out 4 links with ease, (I’m no jeweler either). Titanium is very light which is why I didn’t buy the stainless steel options. ... show more

  • Stylish, Lightweight, Pristine
Color: Black Dial
This watch is even better in person. A classy watch that I’ve taken from hoodie & jeans to a suit for a speaking event. The lightweight titanium band makes me forget I have it on, while slim enough it doesn’t get knocked around. The packaging was stellar! The Citizen box had a little wear & tear as most would, but opened it up to the air tank which was tucked into a protective foam molded insert. Plastic wrap was covering both exterior and interior of the titanium band and clasp. This is how a nice timepiece is packaged. Easy to adjust the time and the sliding tachometer bevel is smooth clicks to each mark, much like a high-end scope. The overall design and presentation of this watch is superb with a perceived value much higher than its price point. Beautiful, classic addition to my collection and daily wear. Well done Citizen. Well done. For idea in case size as a 44mm, I added a photo next to my G-Shock. ... show more

Bought this watch for its practicality and water resistance. It’s been a great worker. Light weight and low maintenance. Handsome. A fine product.

  • A beautiful watch
Color: Blue Dial
It took me a long time to figure out just what I wanted in a nice watch. I ended up here with this Citizen watch (the one with a dark blue face and a red sweeping second-hand) and I'm very happy with it. I wanted a watch with an actual functioning rotating bezel. (I use my bezel usually at least 4 times a day for a multitude of purposes.) Check. I wanted nice looking metal bracelet. Check. I wanted the accuracy of a quartz movement. I don't get why I should want an automatic movement when I would have to keep adjusting the watch every few days to keep it accurate. I couldn't find a quartz movement in a Seiko brand watch (with a bezel) so I'm glad I found Citizen watches. Check. It had to be decently waterproof. This one is rated to 200 meters. Check. I didn't want to spend a fortune for a watch. I found some Tag Heuer watches I liked (quartz movement with bezel) but they were around $2,000. Now I can appreciate how some guys want to proudly have a two grand watch on their wrist but that's not really my style. BTW, I was visiting a doctor the other day who had a watch that looked almost exactly like mine so much so that I had to comment on it. It turned out his watch was a Grand Seiko watch he bought years ago for six thousand bucks. So anyway, check again. I did want to own a respectable well known brand. Citizen has been making watches in Japan for a century. Check. And I wanted a beautiful watch. Check. Note: At the same time I bought this watch I also bought their titanium version. True the titanium is lighter, but I wasn't enamored of it. I actually preferred the heft of the regular steel bracelet. It feels more luxurious to me. So I returned the titanium watch. Yes, it's true the date window is too small to see easily. That seems to be the only negative comment I can make. ... show more
