I haven’t rated the water resistance because I haven’t tried that yet, but I trust Citizen, I own several and never had an issue with them… onto the watch, I fell in love from the first time…. Beautiful watch and not heavy considering it has a 200m water resistance rating, easy to adjust and accurate, and the illumination is one of the best and strongest I have seen before…. My only complaint is the band, it is a bit rugged and harsh, but it’s an easy fix for me, I will just get a soft silicone band and I’m good to go. (Update): First, I actually got to try it in water, works as advertised 😊😊 Second, it was extremely hard to find a band that’s both comfortable and functional as well as color matching to this watch, it’s a mat gold so not easy to find something to match it. I finally was able to find this band which is a thick silicone material and advertised as waterproof so supposedly function similarly to the original one, the only issue was that the buckle was a standard silver color, so I just with the original buckle for a perfect match 😊😁. ... show more

    • Nice stylish, rugged watch
I like this watch. It is stylish enough to wear for work, and rugged enough to wear hunting and fishing, which are my passions. It is exactly what I have been looking for. Also, you don't need a master's degree in computer science to set the time and date. The solar charging is great because I never have to worry about changing a battery. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth the money, especially since I got it on sale. ... show more

I've had this watch for two months now. Has kept perfect time. Set it according to the time on my cellphone. Checked it today and second hand hit zero exactly as the minute went up on my cellphone. Has not lost or gained so much as one second!

I can't believe it took me so long to review this watch, I bought it over a year ago. I most likely didn't because I wrote a review for the first Citizen Promaster Dive Eco-Drive Watch I bought--this is my second; the first one is silver-toned, this one is gold-toned. I have a collection of eco-driven watches, including a few solar-powered watches made by another company, however, they aren't as reliable as my Citizen watches. All are a great value, especially considering these Eco-Drive watches don't require the need to purchase a battery every year or few years. ... show more

    • Excellent value for money, its pretty nice but difficult to use at night.
I have a number of dive watches, in my opinion this has to be one of the best looking. Love the gold and black together. Its great but it is limited use at night as the luminescence fades in the dark, although you can shine your flaslight on it! I need to use a watch with Tritium gas tubes such as a luminox (same price range and not so pretty but functional at night) or Marathon GSAR (3-4 times more expensive).
