We have two of these bamboo candles in our living room area of our home. The fragrance is strong to the point we only keep them lit for an hour or so. The scent definitely covers any pet smells in our home, however the bamboo scent is isn’t the light soothing smell you expect from other bamboo scented candles and plug ins. It is stronger and very “perfume like”. The labels on the jars are impossible to peel off. (I like to decant my products and remove the labels for a clean, minimal decorative look.) I have mourned the loss of my favorite scented candle for the last couple of years. It is still made by the O. G. candle company in the US but it has completely lost its throw (does it smell like anything anymore). I've purchased a number of mint or peppermint scented candles, searching for a replacement, but none came close to my favorite until I purchased this peppermint version of your odor absorbing scents. It has a decent throw and that soft peppermint scent I've been craving. While I can smell it in the air shortly after I light the candle, it's a scent that you can leave burning for hours and it will not become overwhelming. I have candles with a stronger throw that I use to mask food smells and I also have a couple of air cleaners throughout the house. I don't need this candle to be an odor eliminator.
