To be quite honest.. I was actually quite impressed with this purchase. I had seen previous reviews that were very mixed opinions about this tie. But I decided to take the risk and just do it.. and omg the results are much better than I hoped for. The one I got, was the Gryffindor Deluxe tie set. And purchased from the "Dan&harry" seller. To all those that are still indecisive: Yes - its the correct colours of maroon and yellow stripes Yes - it comes in a box with a cute little black ribbon holding it together. And also includes the golden pin. And yes - it is a propper Adult length tie, and even has a tiny and subtle lion embroidery if you look closely. So I reckon, this is the perfect tie, to complete your harry potter costume/collection. And pretty damn good price for its quality - not too overly expensive like the ones at Universal Studios. ... show more

I got excited upon finding this tie and did something I wouldn't normally recommend, I bought first and read the reviews second. However, I'm glad I did, otherwise, I might not have purchased this perfectly lovely tie for my Hufflepuff Halloween costume. After receiving the product, I'm now bewildered as to where people were purchasing the ties with horribly inaccurate Hufflepuff colors pictured in some of the reviews...because this tie is 100% spot-on. I must admit, I got nervous I would have to return the tie, after seeing a review someone posted with a bright neon yellow tie with blue stripes. Thankfully the tie I received was exactly as pictured, a golden mustard color with black stripes. Not sure where the person purchased the bright neon tie...but it wasn't this one. I bought the robe, tie, and deluxe scarf (all Cinereplicas brand). My main concern was that the shades of Gryffindor scarlet and gold would match on all 3 items. As you can see from the photo, everything matched! I got the adult small robe and everything fits exactly as expected (I am 5 foot tall, 110 pounds for reference). The tie came in a very nice box, the stitched lion looks great, and I also love the pin that came with it. Everything is of great quality and does not feel cheaply made AT ALL. This is a very nice quality tie. I ended up returning it because the color was a bit darker than what I wanted and the style is also wider. Seems a bit more masculine, like made for boy/man rather than a girl. I got the Miss Fantasy one instead which is about 1.5 cm smaller on the widest part. The pin however could be better.
