This woven basket was a good size for my needs, I used it for a wedding gift to hold some of the smaller items and set it on top of the two larger items that I wrapped. The basket itself is a beautiful color of gray, a really nice thickness, it did not have any smell and was sturdy enough for my purposes. It was delivered flat, I just used some heavy paper to prop up the sides for a few days and that did the trick. Once the sides were up, they had no problem staying that way. I would say it was definitely big enough to use for their recommended suggestions, a great larger gift basket—it could definitely hold a throw blanket, or it would make a great basket for pet toys! The media could not be loaded. If you don’t have some type of steamer, I wouldn’t buy these. If you do, I would absolutely purchase! They are beautiful. well made and a great size…. but for the life of me I cannot figure out why they don’t spend a little extra on shipping and stop SQUISHING THEM ! Goodness gracious. What I find hilarious is they were shipped in a box big enough to have sent them un-smashed/un-folded. - 4 stars because it was an absolute pain steaming them into shape. 5 star product once they are worked into an acceptable shape. ... show more

My cats love rope baskets but they are hard to find “cat sized” ones in the store. This is a good quality basket but wish it were a bit more stiff. My cats give it “all paws up”!!
