This hood vent is definitely a good value. You have to hold the power button for a few seconds to turn it on, don’t worry it’s not broken... The only problem I have with it is that it is loud. Super easy to install! Comes with a one to one diagram of the hood itself, for easy drilling and fitment. I replaced my Over the range microwave and this is a total upgrade. The only gripe is the stainless pieces have heat shrink on them that you have to pull off, but it definitely ensured that the items were not damaged! Well built, stainless steel unit. Fan runs a bit loud but is tolerable. East to keep clean. Lights stove top adequately. Warm water and dish detergent will remove day-to-day grime accumulation.
