-ly awesome! Seriously, this is a solid, simple, easy to use coffee maker! Very straightforward, no anxiety. The lid is lock/unlock. You can add up to 10 ounces of water in the reservoir and max limit is clearly marked and highly visible. A regular Keurig pod will not work in this as it doesn't have a needle to puncture a Keurig pod's top, but most generic k-cup brew cups will work. There's a metal spike on the bottom of the cup holder to keep the k-cup in place while brewing though the fit is nice and solid. Be careful with that spike as not all generic k-cup bottoms are created equal. Once locked, you just press the large power button and it starts to blink- then it brews super fast! Hot water is pushed through the k-cup and you have a cup of freshly brewed coffee less than 2 minutes later. Brilliant! Super simple operation and clean up (just wipe things out)! Does NOT come with its own k-cup, this is fairly no-frills, but it works a treat and should last a while. Built solid and with few moving parts, there's less chance of breakage. I love it! This is definitely for people who drink out of coffee mugs or small size insulated mugs. I tried it with and tall mug and it spilled out some while trying to get it from under the drip unit. It takes a while 2-3 minutes for the water to start boiling. I cleaned it using vinger on the first use then water and could still taste some kind weird taste that I could only assume was from the new usage. I thought I saw where it was supposed to come with a reusable filter but it didn't you can only put the k-cups in there. ... show more

I love how compact and functional this is. Sometimes coffee machines can be bulky and take up too much space but this one is so slender I can fit it just between anything and have fresh coffee every morning. This coffee maker is strictly for K-Cup's, this was a little bit unclear to me when I was looking into buying it so I want to make it more clear in case the seller hasn't updated their ad listing. This isn't for brewing a large pot, in fact this is basically just good for one small mug that you'll be able to enjoy. I will say this works super fast. I could pop it in, turn it on and fill with water and it'd be done and ready in 15 minutes. Makes it easy to make a cup when I just need a quick caffeine boost without the wait time. ... show more

    • Issues with pumping water through the dispenser
The media could not be loaded. The unit I received didn't work. It heated up the water but it did not pump the water into the dispenser (and then into a mug). I'm guess is that this one had a bad pump. I can hear the pump and heating element turn on when I press the power button but all I get is hot water that stays in the back reservoir and no water/coffee in my coffee mug. I'm processing an exchange and will update my review after I get the second shipment. I received the second coffee maker a week after the first and had the exact same problem. It heated up water. I could hear the heater and pump activating, but no water coming out of the dispenser into my coffee mug. After 2 hours of using a bristle brush and the end of a paper clip to clean out any potential debris that might have been lodged in the dispenser needle and then giving the dispenser needle a good power rinse in the sink, it finally started working. I don't know if the dispenser needle was actually clogged or if the hoses were just not getting properly primed until I started flipping the machine upside down to rinse out the dispenser nozzle (which probably then filled the hose up with water). But now it's working. While I was trying to figure out why the water was not pumping, the customer service reps at the seller/manufacturer were easy to get in touch with to try to diagnose the issue and eager to assist via the Amazon chat messaging system. They said that the most likely cause was the priming of the water pump. Apparently, the shipping from China can take long enough that water that is prefilled in the pump evaporates by the time a customer in the US receives it, which can cause a problem getting the water pump primed. So I'm guessing that when I started flushing the needle under the sink faucet with water, it re-primed the pump, which got it working again. Now with respect to how the coffee maker works, this is a single fill coffee maker, like the kind you might see in a hotel room. You fill up the water reservoir with exactly the amount of water you want to have dispensed -- i.e. the amount that is in your coffee mug. The reservoir will hold more water than that and if you fill it up with 2 mugs worth of water, it will dispense 2 mugs worth of hot water -- meaning if you want one cup of coffee, you're going to get 2 coming up. So make sure you don't over fill the reservoir. Aside from that, it makes K-Cup coffee just like any other K-Cup coffee maker. ... show more
