I ordered the ChiXpace Black Duvet Cover Full Size for my teenage son, who is the middle of redoing his bedroom. He wanted a black duvet cover for his down alternative comforter. The ChiXpace duvet cover is made of a very soft microfiber. The cover (sized Full) measures 80” x 90”. It has sets of ties inside that can hold the comforter in place. There are ties in each corner, as well as ties in the middle of each side of the duvet cover. There is also a zipper to keep the comforter in the duvet cover. The zipper is lightweight and feels a little plasticky. While the duvet cover feels like it will last a while, the zipper needs to be used carefully. The fabric the duvet cover and pillowcases are made from is a deep, saturated black color. The fabric is thin and soft. It goes well with the black sheets my son has on his bed. There are different shades of black, just like any other color. This is inky and dark, and there is no bleed through of the white comforter. We put this through the washing machine on cold, tumble dry low. It still looks great! He says the microfiber is very soft and comfortable. This is exactly what my kid wanted. He’s having fun redoing his room. At this price, it stretches his budget a little further—a nice bargain. Recently ordered the "ChiXpace Black Comforter Cover Queen Size - Duvet Cover Set Soft Brushed Microfiber Queen with Zipper Closure, 3 Pieces, 1 Duvet Cover (90"x90") & 2 Pillow Shams" to expand my options for a bedroom makeover on the fly. In all, not a bad find for under $30. Despite my inability to neatly put a blanket in an enormous pillowcase, I eventually got my duvet insert into this duvet cover. And also despite the amount of NSFW language I used during the process (I angrily asked my empty room whose brilliant idea it was to start putting blankets in bags at least three times while putting the cover on), the final results are (thankfully) satisfactory. My initial reaction was "uh oh, this feels THIN," and the material is relatively thin. However, it isn't so thin that you can see fabric through it. I have white pillows and a white (90" x 90") duvet insert and I was certain you'd be able to see the white coming through the black fabric. Thankfully, I was mistaken. You can't see the slightest hint of the blanket or pillow, so the material is thicker (or denser?) than it felt to me - so that's a good thing. Appearance-wise, this is about as simple as bedding gets. There is no decorative embellishment, no snazzy stitching, no embroidery, etc. And that's ok as long as what you want IS a simple bedding set. That's what I wanted, so I'm pleased. Currently this duvet cover set is listed at $21.99 (including the 21% promotion), which makes it an even better bargain than it already was. The only negative feedback I have is this: Why is the zipper in bright white against black fabric? You can't NOT see the zipper. I am guessing the white zippers are probably used manufacturing every color variation offered in this product (beige, black, blue, green, grey, red, white), so there's only one color option (white) where the zipper wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. That negative isn't so significant that I would avoid ordering it, personally. Just be aware of it since you can't really hide the zippered edge unless you're tucking the duvet in. I set mine up so the zippered edge is on the far side of the bed and out of sight unless I'm making the bed. No, it's not the nicest bedding ever. But it's also not at all bad unless the white zipper thing is somehow a deal-breaker for you. And no, it's not super luxurious. But it wasn't advertised as being luxurious. What is it? We got the ChiXpace duvet in blue. The color is a nice pale blue and pretty true to the pictures online. It’s pretty plain though as there is no decorative print or stitching (which should be apparent by the pictures). The duvet is very soft and feels nice against your skin. There is a zipper along one side but it only goes about 2/3 of the way down. This makes inserting the bead spread you are covering a bit of a chore but it’s doable (especially if you have two people). I do prefer a zipper to buttons though. It is very lightweight which can be good or bad depending on your needs (we live in a warm climate so it’s a good thing for us). I will mention, because others have commented, we covered a heavy paisley print bed spread and we could not see the print through the duvet … maybe because we chose a colored duvet vs white or beige. It has internal ties if you need them (we did not try them). The construction seems good (no loose threads, seams and stitching looks good). I’ve focused on the duvet but the same goes for the shams.Overall, we are very pleased with this duvet set. ... show more

I bought this blue duvet cover by ChiXpace to have as an extra for my twin bed. The price certainly is a draw, is is why I took a chance. It does have 8 ties inside to attach to my duvet insert, which I like. The fabric is very soft, and does have a zipper closure. If you are a warmer sleeper, this is a better option than flannel ones. The color is very pretty as well. I do wish there were more color options, but for the price, this is overlooked, as duvet covers seem very expensive in general. For starters, it's a really nice, calming shade of blue. The material is soft and comfortable, even after a machine wash and dry. Even though it's warm, it's quite breathable. I got the queen size which my duvet perfectly. The cover has zipper which makes putting the duvet in super easy. I feel like I have standard sized pillows which fit just right in the pillow cases. Extremely pleased with this Duvet cover. The color is richer than even photographed. It was very easy to fit my Duvet inside, and the zipper works very well.
